The reasons is because I their eyes they think that a lowered car with after market exhaust which sounds like a lawnmower is cool. They try to trick the 4 Cylinder aka 4 banger aka rice rocket to be quicker. At best they may get them as fast as a mustang GT. But this requires up to thousands of dollar. And can't forget about nitrous.

So moral of story is "I don't know why anyone would spend so much and time to make a 4 cylinder car go low 13's, but if that makes them happy."
