Just started playing again. Signed up on an app called red hot pawn. You can play people all over the world, it's pretty fun. I suck, but am getting better. Anyone else play online?

I Love chess just can't find the time these days. It would have to be a start and stop type game, no clock :)

Most of them have a time out that you can change. I like faster paced games, but some guys only make 1 move a day. Makes for a long game.

On chessfriends you set the time of the match you want to play and then it matches you to someone else

I regularly play with a five minute limit, that's a good quick game

Chess is weak-ass thinking.

Go into "Go" (Baduk, Weiqi), it´s way more complex and advanced, "The surrounding game", the oldest board game ever. It feels limitless compared to chess, as the game starts with an empty board, and you build your own territory, you give power to your stones, you don´t need no king or queen, it´s all black and white.

What's with the gold coins?

You get coins to begin with, and use them to challenge people. You choose how many coins you want to risk on the match, if you win you get coins if you lose you lose coins. Run out of coins you can't play until the next day when they reload them or you can watch an ad and get more coins instantly. So encourages you to try to win, there are no pop up ads

Yeah, I tried it earlier. I like that the pace is a bit faster. But thought it was weird when I won because the clock ran out for time. You should check out red hot pawn. You can play multiple games at the same time. No coins, but the pace is a bit slower
