Package inbound. They sent tracking without me asking for it. Love that.
IV bags inbound as well.
Going to pull labs before I do anything.
Not chasing a high ferritin number. More problems will come with that. Seeking a mid range 100 or so. And keep maintaining it with low dose iron IV every 6-8 weeks. Or possibly oral iron since my body will have proper iron storage for once.
But I have a unique situation of also needing to keep my CBC from elevating. Iron infusions can raise HGB by 1-3 total points ( ex: 16 to 17-19)
I’m typically high end range of allowed limits. And I certainly shouldnt do an infusion with an elevated panel.
I did get my HCT down to 50 with daily injection TRT and hydration.
(Maybe CPAP will also help . Takes a long time tho)
