I’m going to make an attempt at my first brew of Cialis. I will be mixing to a 30 ml bottle. Which my understanding is I would need 600 mg raw, then 20% glycerin and top off with water. My question is rather than water can I add some sort of flavoring? Or at least add flavor to the water!

I don't think your recipe will work if you're trying to make a solution: The Relationship between Solubility and Transdermal Absorption of Tadalafil

This suggests you can only get .2 mg/ml in glycerin, which is shit. To get a useful concentration, you'll need to use PEG-400, and even then, you'll only get ~15 mg/ml at best, so your recipe would be more like <450 mg raws with 30 ml PEG-400

If you're just trying to make a suspension with the glycerin/water mix, though, I don't think it matters if you add flavored water or plain water.

As far as making a suspension, grab yourself some Humco Flavorblend and your 60 mg of raws and put it in your bottle and shake it up.

yeah i would just buy a little plastic spoon and wheigh it out the first time you should be able to get 25mg pretty easily

I’ve always read it’s actually one of the most accurate ways to dose. Just always shake the thing before each use to get it evenly distributed. If you think about it, suspensions have been around forever in the pharmaceutical world.

If you're trying to practice for brewing gear, you'll want to make a solution, in which case your best bet is probably PEG-400.

If you want to make pills, the best solution is to use capsules; you can get a capping machine, empty gelatin caps, a pestle and mortar, and some filler powder (you can use pretty much anything, I like taurine and magnesium glycinate but professional companies use inert flow agents like magnesium stearate and cellulose) off Amazon or something, then use geometric dilution (easy to find guides on the internet) to make the powder you'll fill the caps with

Thanks for your response. I understand that capsules would be the best option however this is just for personal use, and hobby. So I had thought about making a few pills not only for use, but plain curiosity. When I had seen a pill press I noticed they came in different sizes. I was intrigued if you simply just compressed raw into a pill form, or if it were much more complicated.

You're making this complicated for an oral. The easiest way to do this would be to get HUMCO or oraplus as stated by another member. The next step would be to measure out 30ml (some will do 29, because the gram brings it close to 30ml) of your humco/oraplus & add 1 gram to this in you 30ml bottle. Shake this up good & wahlah your finished. This will give you 33mg/ml.....

Infant ibuprofen comes in 30mL add 600mg and mix for at least an hour with a large stir stick @600-700rpm.

I like this method for orals that need to be taken on the move or throughout the day.

Humco compounding suspension vehicle is also another good option. It's not that expensive on Amazon. Requires refrigeration. Same process as stated above. Preferred method for once a day dosing meds. The flavors are very palatable.

MCT oil ? Does it really work. What mg suspension could be used , any idea ?

Pill form (presuming you mean a tablet) is going to require a filler and a pill press. They have hand held, single punch presses, though I am unsure if it’s almost as hard to get one in the States as a rotary press is and if it calls the same attention of the Feds if you get one. You will then have to learn just how much filler to hormone ratio is needed in order to properly make the tablet.

There is also the capsule option, which also involves weighing out hormone and filler and buying a capsule maker. Do you need a capsule maker? No, but depending on how many you want to make, it makes life easier.

Just go with the humco or oraplus method....a pill requires more stuff listed below by villian. The flavor of that stuff is good and better than using grain alcohol, plus that doesn't spread it out evenly if not fully dissolved. The time you shake a draw it out it will be falling to the bottom on some raws.
