Clomid and Nolvadex effects on Estrogen/E2 levels in blood tests

How does Clomid and Nolvadex affect E2 levels in the sensitive E2 blood tests?

As I understand, selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERM) effectively block the estrogen receptors. Many Of these are in the breast area for men. Does that mean there is more estrogen in your blood?

An aromatase inhibitor (AI) like anastrozol/arimidex stops aromatase from converting testosterone to estradiol. This effectively lowers E2 levels in bloods....I think.

So, do SERMs lower or raise E2 levels in blood?
