Clomid while ON cycle?

So I take Clomid as a form of TRT as prescribed by a urologist. It increases my test to about 914 ng/dL, and keeps my FSH and LH bloodwork solid.

Obviously when going on a cycle, you get suppressed and your natural test stops. Has anyone tried running Clomid alongside their cycle? Good idea? Bad idea?

How well does it work? Thinking of subbing it for HCG during a blast, then continuing afterwards. I respond very well to it.

That is very much not true. If it was even remotely true then nobody would ever be prescribed HCG. The difference between the bro version of shutdown and the actual medical version are seemingly vast. Fertility is often maintained with either HCG or Clomid (enclomiphene is superior, but that’s neither here nor there). Ever wonder just how that’s possible? Because if your version of shutdown (the broscience version) were true then fertility would be a literal impossibly. Spermatogenesis cannot happen without naturally produced testosterone. If your broscience version of shutdown held true then you’re going to have to explain how any man has ever maintained fertility while on trt or a cycle.

Both HCG and Clomid, though working through different pathways, will tell your body to produce testosterone. When you’re supplementing with exogenous testosterone (or any androgen) that production will be limited, but it will most assuredly not be nothing.

Clomid works, but the same concept will apply as hcg, once you increase your testosterone above trt levels, you'd have to run ridiculous high amounts of ither to maintain. And douptfull that it would work, yes sure 1000mcg would keep your balls hanging on a cycle but you definitely would not wanna run that much throughout, same with clomid you wouldn't wanna run 100mg daily etc.

On trt im definitely a firm believer in one or the other, or hcg and a splash of clomid.

Your not looking for competing receptors, your just looking for that signal to help maintain your hpa axis and of course prevent your balls from dissappearing lol

This is my take on it, i run hcg yearly, and take 250mcg x3 a week anything up to 200mg a week of test that works fine, up over that i would have to go higher on hcg.

Clinics don't just prescribe these drugs to you on a whim. They go based off of your blood work to see exactly what you need.

Also, I couldn't knock up my wife on testosterone. We were tracking her ovulation for months and fucking constantly. As soon as I started clomid, hcg and hmg she got pregnant within a few weeks.

My main point with that reply was testosterone can definitely be used as male contraceptive although its not 100% effective.
