Hi :)

It's possible to combine phentermine and semaglutide?

If there are any issues for this combination, can you give some info?

Thanks <3

I am prescribed a Stimulant for adhd and I also take a mix of GLP1s. The Sema helps with physical hunger and the Stimulant helps with the food noise. Just remember to drink plenty of fluids and watch your heart rate/Blood pressure as some people don’t respond well to Phentermine. Take the Phentermine as early as possible to avoid sleep issues.

Also due to heart issues being a possibility most professionals recommend not taking it longer than 12 weeks at a time. I would just make sure to give yourself breaks. Lowest Effective Dose!!! Start as low as possible and work your way up. Tolerance is a bitch with stimulants. If you have ever had a caffeine addiction you will know how that is.

tldr: Use The spongy material in your head to make sure you don’t kill yourself or hurt your body by abusing stimulants.

I saw a YouTube MD say that he prescribes phentermine for patients that have fatigue on Mounjaro. So, I go into my doc to ask for it, and he said no because my BMI is too low for it. I’m on Mounjaro for diabetes (not weight loss but I want to lose weight).

maybe could help with my weed stone moments because sometimes i'm sleepy and I think it's mostly because of smoking pot

I only felt a bit dizzy sometimes with semaglutide when increasing dosages or after eating

I am currently taking phentermine 30 mg daily while on the starting dose of Tirz 2.5. So far, it has been an amazing combination, would highly recommend. It offsets any potential fatigue of GLPs while providing a different MOA for suppressing hunger.

^^^^^^ This, its not uncommon.
Ive even seen doctors give patients phentermine when they are on GLP1s even when they have a history of high blood pressure and are on meds for that.
They just monitor often and pull bloods at least every 3 months.

Going on Phentermine is gonna be bad for you if combined with semaglutide.

It's the pretty well known that appetite suppression from semaglutide causes muscle catabolism, that means, a significant amount of weight loss comes from muscle loss which isn't desirable.

Adding a stimulant on top of that would further encourage muscle catabolism as it would increase energy demand, and your body would be filled with stress hormones that's cortisol from reduced calorie intake and epinephrine and norepinephrine from the phenetermine.

Instead of adding a stimulant, it would be much better to add an anabolic (or anti-catabolic) if the goal is improved body composition.
