Community Review: IndiaMart Ancillaries

Sharing my EU experience:

Ordered from Rohit to Europe (Baltics / Eastern Europe), around 2,000 tablets, ~€300 total. Since it was shipped from India, the parcel got stopped for customs clearance and VAT. Maybe because of CN22 and HSN 3004 code, no idea.

To proceed with clearance, the shipping company / postal service offered customs brokerage (standard customs clearance procedure) and asked me to provide the following documents:

1) Proof of purchase / invoice
2) Proof of payment (proof of transaction) - mandatory
3) Additional documents if available (for example a medical prescription or certificate)

According to tracking, the shipment first transited through Germany (Frankfurt), apparently without an EU import declaration, and was then forwarded directly to my country, where it was stopped by customs. Btw, I’m not sure why the shipment was sent this way, especially since I asked in advance about delivery to Europe. I was told that shipments to Europe are done on a regular basis and that the success rate is above 98%, but in my case the parcel still ended up stuck at customs.

With an order of this size and contents (prescription-only medicines non-AAS, no oils), anyway it felt risky. If customs decided to open the parcel, any mismatch between the documents and the actual contents could cause serious legal issues. Because of that, I decided not to proceed with customs clearance and declined the shipment.

Rohit offered to provide an invoice, but I was not confident that this alone would satisfy customs. The most important document was proof of transaction, which I could not provide because payment was in crypto.

Rohit suggested triangular shipping (UK -> EU), but I’m not convinced it really lowers the risk, so I’m unsure if it’s worth trying.
Damn bro what country is that

u got lied to, shipping from india to europe has about a 95% FAIL rate. however he is right about UK/US to eu. me and some others got out going orders from him as we speak via this method. And it indeed has a much higher succes rate.

My package from rohit has been in the US for two weeks but is stuck on “In transit, Arriving Late” for over a week now. Anyone dealt with something similar?
A bunch of us. Sitting in NY right? If you read my prior posts you can see where I'm at. I'm expecting a love letter from customs any day now.

Did you buy oils or just dry stuff?

I have in the past but it wasn't a shipment from India. It was from China and it got stuck in transit in Texas when they had some big storm that damaged infrastructure. This was like a year or 2 ago I think.
If you're in the US keep on mind there's been a huge winter storm that fucked up a lot of places that don't normally get snow.

Is UK/US to EU actually more reliable in practice? I know that since July 1, 2021, all non-EU shipments still require customs declaration and VAT, so I’m trying to understand whether routing through the UK/US genuinely makes customs clearance smoother, or if it’s not really worth trying at all.

I think UK/US to EU it's the same as direct fro INdia. They ask for documents, and pay infos.Of course you can make a false one,but if you cought this dig you ever deeper.
If you send something, that is clear you want this package, and this belongs to you...

Actually it says it was processed through the ISC location, arrived at the Jamaica center, and then for several days after I kept getting the “In transit” updates, but no specific location scans.

No oils, just dry stuff. No sleep meds or modsfinil either, just ancillaries. Part of why I’m freaking out because of this takes another month i’ll have to go to telyrx to top up on some stuff.

yeah i figure it has to do with all the blizzards across the country.

If you think USPS lost it that is probably not the case. It is more likely in customs despite the way their system shows updates. See the image for what mine says. You would think it cleared. I put in a ticket and USPS called me and said it was in customs. He aaid that can take 14 days.

In mine case, I wanted and ordered pills. He quoted me like $15 or something on a 10 ml vial of Testoboon. Figuring I already have shipping sunk told him to throw a few in. No doubt it got seized due to the vials. Talked to Rohit and we are going to deal with it next week. I told him to call since he is shipper and I actually have a test c script. Offer to pay the tariff and see if it clears.
BUMP

Mine is still in the status described and the image here. I did open a new request with USPS and he usually calls back next day. I'm assuming he tells me customs took it.
