Compounding pharmaceutical instructions

If I am reading the compounding pharmacy test instructions correctly, they are calling for 10% BA and 45% BB.

Thoughts?

PIP like a biotch. Way overkill on solvents and preservative.

Also.. how is a compounding pharmacy compounding test no ester? Is that even legal in the US?

I doubt the FDA cares about individual esters. It is the base drug that they scrutinize.

I have brewed 50 ml of this almost exactly according to the instructions. I kept the BA at 10%, BB at 45%, but doubled the Test C to 10g (200 mg/ml) and adjusted the oil down to 13.4 ml to compensate for the increase in test c powder.

The test c fully dissolved in the ba/bb mix, as per the instructions. I only added the oil at the very end, as per the instructions. I also dry heat sterilized for two hours and then filtered into sterile vials.

I did a 0.5ml test injection into my thigh, over 24 hours ago, and have not had any PIP whatsoever. If I am still without any PIP after 48 hours, I will increase the dose to 1 ml or 200mg.

I know that conventional wisdom says 10%BA will have bad PIP, but I believe the compounding formula company wouldn’t be prudent to put something out causing bad PIP.

I guess we will know in another 24 hours or so.

But why…

Medisca, I would assume, has specific reasons they decided to use that specific formula. Although I do not claim to know the reasons, I would find it reasonable to assume there is a logic to their madness, otherwise they would open themselves up to legal liability. As a result, I feel more comfortable following these instructions than I do some of the bro-science found online. I have learned a lot from many people who contribute to this forum, and am appreciative of any and all feedback given.

In addition, I have enjoyed trying different formulas, esters, carrier oils, and will likely continue to do so until I find the perfect combination(s) for me.

It’s not bro-science to attempt to keep solvents and preservatives as minimal as possible which, in turn maximizes the organic ingredients you’re injecting into your body.

This compounding pharmacy has 0 reputation. There’s multiple major pharmaceutical companies that don’t even use BA at all in their single use ampules…

I did not call your input bro-science.

Why did you use this formulation for test cypionate, it is intended for test base.

I'm guessing guaiacol or ethyl oleate are not permitted for use by compounding pharmacies. Test base is highly soluble in benzyl alcohol (just above 500mg/mL), so BA is relied upon as a solvent here in addition to BB.

I have made test base in MCT oil with 4% BA 30% BB 40mg/mL, also zero PIP, and zero crashing. I believe the culprit for PIP most of the time is crashing/crystallization of the compound intramuscularly, not to do with BA or BB.

The RDA for BA is 5mg/kg/day. For a 100kg person, that is 0.5g. This recipe provides 0.104g of BA per mL.

That explains the high BA/BB. For me, it gave me the opportunity to see that my body is not reacting negatively to a high BA/BB content.

I would also agree that PIP can likely be related to things other than BA/BB content. For me, injecting a 10% BA content caused zero discomfort, likely helped by the analgesic properties of BA.

I enjoy using the insulin injection pens such as the lily Ergo 2. I would likely feel comfortable to increase BA/BB content when using these, in order to minimize the possibility of crashing, as I would not be able to warm the injection on a coffee cup warmer.

Do you know for sure and which ones? Everyone has told me they have the BA in there, even though fundamentally there is no need for it. I add BA anyway when i transfer to vials.

You don’t even need that much either for test base. I’ve done 50mg/ml with 1% BA 15%BB

Also I understand it’s theoretical but could you imagine TNE 500mg lol. The rush and subsequent side effects would be insane
