Whatcha bbqing for Christmas mate? It always trips me out it's summer for y'all on Christmas. My buddy said they used to go to the beach and BBQ on Christmas day.

Well I didn’t do much of the install because my buddy and his guys were killing it on the back porch. I did however help install the front. I didn’t want to get in the way on the back lol. But I did sand, stain and clear every fkn board you see by myself. In total 155 16’ boards. Plus I sanded and stained all the big timbers you see on both porches. Still have to tongue and groove the soffits on both porches. Should be done soon.

Yeah it was like Chinese water torture. Just seemed like day after day after day the pile was not getting smaller lol. Very pleased with the outcome. I’m hooked on this carpentry thing now. I just wanna build shit every day

yeh i knw what ur saying but in this case the torture was well worth it
i would be very proud to say i was involved in quality work like that..
everybody has a vision but not many have the skills to execute it
I crush on shit like that everyday.
I'm living in a 36' travel trailer right now, construction on a new house starting up very soon. No shame in the trailer park game

Grey paint, shitty floors and fuck tons of ugly tile and absolute tons of concrete.
Would love to sink my teeth into some stuff like that.
I havnt built a bar in 4 or 5 years, building custom bars is probably my #1 favorite thing to do.
