Cop Drug Test Question?

I just would like to say GOD BLESS AMERICA! What is the problem with school prayer being read in school. Damn liberals!

Anyone whom speaks poorly of the profession of law enforcement is not worth my time...

... having said that, the polygraph or voice stress is common up here. Polygraph CAN be beaten, voice stress can't. I'd suggest staying clean for now.

So you have an idea what the pay is. What is top pay for a patrolman and how many yrs to get there? Also, what part of the country are you in?

yes sir i do know the pay here, top pay for a patrolman is around 30 maybe.itlll take about 6-8 years to reach that(depending on what dept, and who ass you kiss).now you do get good benefits, but the bullshit you put up with it's not worth it.if you stay in for years and move up to brass (lt,capt, major)youll make better.

Why, what are your thought on GOD? Care to take this to the GD? :D

I will keep my thoughts about the dis-service that religion has done the world to myself. What does " Care to take this to the GD? "mean ?

Shit, I'm never moving down there! A local suburb here in Ohio pays 60K and tops at 72K in 32 months.

First, GOD and religion can be sperate, but they do seem to go together well. Second, GD means General Discussion. Third, have you read my thread titled read this story?

If the polygraph can be beaten,so can the voice stress test, because they are based on the same principles. The voice test would be harder to beat, but it is possible.

Well, that's just it. I know it's alot lower down there, than up here in Jersey. Top pay for a patrolman in my town(not the highest paying police in Jersey)is $65,000 and it now takes 8yrs to reach that. It used to be 5 but now 5yrs only gets them $55,000. Not to mention the detail work, which they make a killing off of. The town next to me is $75,000 top pay. My fathers friend(very nice guy)makes well over $100,000yr,has only 10yrs on and is only a patrolman. It's not a bad town either. Maybe to all you southeners, but not to us city folk :-) .... I guess it just wasn't in the books for me to be a government employee. I love my job and plan to be making well over $100,000yr in under 5yrs. Not saying it will happen, but i'm still planning it :-)

the pay is probally the same, factoring in the amount of money it cost to live up north.30000.00 to me is like 70-80 for yall.

No, that is not true- CVSA would be much easier to beat due to its lack of reliability and validity at this point. A polygraph also has several more data points to obtain info. At this point CVSA is not admissible in court and really amounts to nothing in the end. Should CVSA prove itself to work it will be a cheaper and more efficient alternative that can also be used to hinder privacy rights.

Is CVSA the voice test? A polygraph isn't admissible in court either. Or is it that the defendant can use it in court to prove inocence but the cops can't?

It's all good as long as you stay home. Because those Bahamas trips still cost the same :-)

Voice stress is based off control questions as well, but there is VERY LITTLE to no chance of beating it.

Anyway - cost of living?

Well, here's how I define cost of living -

Gas is $1.76 a gallon
A big-mac extra value meal from McDonald's is $4.29
It costs $43 to register your car
Nice two bedroom apartments are $650/month
Really fucking nice two bedroom apartments, with in apartment washer/dryer, full kitchen, full dining room, full living room, and gage is about $780/month.

Those are the things I look at when I travel. If McDonald's price is up, and Gas is over $2/Gallon - cost of living is high, lol.

Gas here is $208/gal.... 2 bedroom appartments here cost $900 and up. I have a 3 bedroom and pay $1,000/month (i got lucky) not including heat and hot water, which is another $100 in summer and $200 in winter. I don't like McDonalds but Taco Bell always cost me over $20 just for myself. :-)

Whoa, where do you live? Cheap!

Manwhore,

You are forgetting the theory if the South would have won, we would have had it made. We can change history but over time at least we can reailze our mistakes. But then again you live in your underground lair so maybe you won't believe that.
