I will vote for him, I am an ex -marine, vietnam vet (2 tours), believe in capital punishment, own 20 guns including 7 handguns, have used steroids, love the environment, believe in strong law enforcement, think education should be a top US priority, am a Lutheran, pray daily, etc.

I can show where many politicians who tried to criticize Barack on not wearing a flag pin didn't wear one themselves. Does anyone remember the politician from the south that came on TV to criticize Obama and yet he didn't even have the smarts to wear one himself while on TV?

Also lets not forget that out of all the presidential candidates Obama probably talked more about his Christain faith then any other candidate. I know that he has talked about his more and reached out to catholics and evangelicals more then McCain has.

And no I am not an Obama supporter. Yes I like some of his polictical platform like the fact he believes we need to invest more in renewable energy and he hasn't opposed Nuclear energy as an Energy option.

I would love it if Ron Paul was a presidential candidate though because he opposes the Iraq war, opposes the US colonial and Imperial policies, wishes to close many of the hundreds of army bases we have in sovereign countries such as Germany, Japan, Turkey and others.

He believes in true fiscal responsibilities and believes that the constitution should not be tampered with unless amendments are raised and passed by the US citizens.

Ron Paul would have been a great president and would have brought our deficit down a great deal in few short deals do the savings by removing troops from Iraq, having companies in Iraq bid for contracts, control more of these mercenaries type companies in Iraq, closing some of these military forces across the world and more. If you removed the 30,000-50,000 troops in Japan then you could bring them to Iraq or even better yet Afghanistan to quell the Taliban insurgency and control the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Senator Kennedy duties maybe seriously impaired if not scaled back because of his illness. Also Tim Johnson of South Dakota and Senator Byrd of West Virginia are both suffering health or have suffered health issues which may effect the so called democratic control.

I still wish that Ron Paul was running. Definitely would love for him to run on the Libertarian ticket. Ron Paul had the best idea and best game plan out of all of them and his record backed it up. It flat out sux the the man most qualified for the job never was gave a chance.
