Covid breaking my hopes

Man, I have been feeling pretty down about how many people are just going with the flow and not questioning what's happening at all. Turns out at least two of my neighbor's are on my side so I am a bit happy. The rest of my neighbor's are total sheep. One of them posted on FB the other day she was working up the guts to go to the store. I almost lost my mind. Really had to bite my tongue since we live next door to each other and all
It’s unbelievable to me the way people act and react to this situation, they look like pathetic, helpless kids begging for big daddy and mommy (government) to protect them because they can’t do it themselves.

It’s like, if you tell them to stay home, they can’t bring themselves to stay home without prohibition from the government, like they have no restraint or judgment or responsibility, so they want to government to forcibly lock them down, and meanwhile, others have to be locked down aswell so they don’t feel bad about them being locked while others aren’t.

Seriously man, there should be a fucking Holocaust for people like this.

To anyone who thinks this situation is coming to a close soon GOOD LUCK! Until there's a legitimate vaccine made get use to this life ! Or maybe Trump can tweet the virus away! :)
The economy can’t handle it, they are already talking about starting to go back to normal because the government money won’t last forever.

They’ll have to just say fuck it and let whoever has to die, die.

Without school going back you can forget about the economy. So once millions of kids are infected then maybe people will wake up I guess.

Unfortunately, the sheep outnumber us. It makes no sense to me. They don’t have any clue how long they signed on for this but just blissfully blow thru their day “vigilant”.

I’m just glad my kids are in high school. The people that graduated this year are going to have a hard time finding jobs. Employment is going to be highly competitive when this is all over.

I’m hoping that the fat fucking middle-class Karens that preached “stay home to save a life” are the same ones that will be taking orders at McDonalds.

Its a no win situation. Keeping stay at home orders in effect will clearly save a lot of lives. We are at almost 30,000 deaths at mid-April. Last year was the deadliest flu season in decades estimated around 80,000 deaths. If we lift all restrictions and go back to normal, we will fly past the 80,000 mark. All emergency services will be swamped far beyond their capacity. If you get injured in accidents or have health issues that would normally be easily treatable, you likely won't be able to get help. Businesses that have high numbers of employees will end up closing on their own because the virus will run rampant through their workforce, just like the Smithfield plant closing in South Dakota because hundreds of workers have tested positive. Think of any business where there is a large number of employees that are in close proximity with each other and the same thing that happened at Smithfield will happen there.

Will we get "herd immunity" by letting it run its course? We don't know. Maybe, maybe not. Will there be a vaccine next year? Maybe, maybe not. Will there be an effective drug or drug combo? Maybe, maybe not.

I get it. Shutting things down is going to cause mass devastation to people's lives and way of living. People will die from the fallout of a depression that is certain to happen with continued restrictions.

Which is worse? Take your pick. Both suck. Everybody stays home, the economy gets dramatically worse. Everybody goes back to work, the healthcare system gets crushed and a lot of businesses would end up closing anyway just like Smithfield and the economy will take a hard hit from that.

The only thing I'm sure of is that no matter what we do, there will be a big group of people that are convinced its right and big group convinced its wrong. Maybe there are some like me who just shrugs and says its a fucked situation any way you look at it. Personally, I think its always best to have people arguing for both options. It would have been stupid to have zero restrictions or lockdowns, but it is also stupid to keep them in full effect indefinitely.

The only flaw in your argument/ point of view is that, as you mentioned yourself, things will get fucked either way, so I’d rather have my freedom and move on with my life while things are getting fucked.

The protests already started, the violence will follow suit, it’s just a matter of time before this charade is over.

What a fucking joke. People are very slowly understanding that this Covid thing wasn’t as serious as the hysteria portrayed it to be. Re-revised death rate numbers are less than 0.1% and that includes the deaths they “presumed covid related”. So this “pandemic” has far less chance of killing you than the seasonal flu.

Time to go back to normal now. I certainly hope that one of the industries hit hard by this whole thing turns around to sue the fucking media. The people that profited off of putting fear into people should be held accountable.

And yet another fucking blow to the Democrats. They tried to politicize this to make Trump look bad and he crushed them yet again. He’s going to be the president for 4 more years and then Junior will be elected after that. 10 more years of Trump(s) baby.

I almost agree with ya BBBG, just not sure about the Trump jr part. The thing that sucks is Trump put it in the governors hands as when to reopen their state. Sucks for me or anyone in a state being ran by a democrat. Im stuck with a sheep in”Wolfs” clothing.

I think I got the same governor as you if he’s in quotes. [emoji1787]

Oh and our Health Secretary is a fucking transgender dude to ugly woman. [emoji2959]

I'm in aggreance w BBBG and others ...The response to this has been a complete overreaction by the powers that be. There will never be an accurate death rate percentage until there is mass testing. If 25pct of the population is asymptomatic, the current death rate percentage is severely flawed. The economy has to be opened back up in some capacity. I believe that can be done using some common sense practices. Healthy people should be out working, at risk people should take more precautions. I personally would rather die from Covid over poverty. My state is a hotspot w a Democratic Governor; we will not reopen.

Trump is a dumbass. He says one thing one day and then the next changes it. No matter what it is. First he fires fauci, then her wants his dick, then he curses at this one here and then he agrees and takes them under his wing....

make up your dam mind. He has no idea whats going on.

And all runners now suck dick. They are all horrible. So nobody is any good. So trump may fuckin win again. Need a new candidate. Someone good. Dont care if republican or democrat. Hell go in between the two.
