Covid Lockdowns

Nobody talks about Covid much anymore and IMO that's a good thing coz it was such an emotional time for the whole world and caused so many problems within society as different opinions emerged from those who followed the rules for safety and those who thought it was all just a consipracy theory and began their rebellions against Governments.

This thread ISN'T about all that though coz everyone is free to do whatever they want now and keep taking precations, or not, but looking back on it all in a slightly bizarre way did you enjoy life more in lockdowns and could've lived the rest of your life like that if so many industries weren't affected or are you just glad to be almost back to living the same life as normal before Covid?

It has come time for us to live with it as the virus has all but become endemic like the flu and we should be learning to be proactive to prevent any new pandemics from happening. Monkeypox for example may well be another pandemic but with proper preparation we can prevent that from happening.

So how does the world achieve that global majority mindset in your opinion?
And what do you do with the rebels that won't conform?

We can't stop the spread of germs/bacteria/viruses unless stringent measures are adopted and enforced like they were during Covid pandemic peaks and peoples civil liberties and freedom of choice were taken away..

Racism, homophobia, misogyny, bigotry, etc. prohibited.
I didnt wear a mask, didnt get vax, didnt social distance or any of that bullshit.
Went about life normally and didnt get sick.
I'm starting to see an uptick of faggots wearing masks again for some reason.

And yet states like Texas and Florida that had no restrictions had no difference in transmission rates as states with severe lockdowns like Michigan and California.
If they actually put as much emphasis on washing your hands instead of wearing a mask they admit does nothing, things might have been different.

If I’m not mistaken, FL and TX, actually had lower rates than the US national average

The only thing good I can think came of it was cheap gas and very few people on the road.

Hell yeah!

It didn't really affect me at all. I went out and bought enough equipment to lift at home within a few days of the gyms closing. I still had to go to work every day like normal the whole time, so was pretty much business as usual for me.

It's expensive as hell here, 1.8-2.0€ per liter (liter is about 0.26 US gallon, I think, I might be wrong though, I'm used to metric units). So you would pay 7.50usd for a gallon I think.

edit: forgot to mention it's for diesel, since most people drive diesel powered vehicles.
