Cow milk or almond milk

Milk destroys my skin, so it's been ripple milk since it easy calories, although it's full of sunflower oil which I don't trust. Use some crappy planet oat milk for cereal just to cut down on the amount of ripple I drink.

I probably drink 1-2 litres of cows milk per day. Between cereal, tea and just have a litre of milk with my lunch I get through a lot.

Oat milk.

Almond/nut milk is pretty bad for the environment. The trees take up a LOT of water, all in areas of the US where water is scarce. Also, there's an awful phenomenon going on where beekeepers are seeing their hives destroyed when they send them to the commercial almond farms.

So I say no to nut milk. Also the cartons they come in (tetra paks) are horrible for the environment, as they are "recyclable" but almost no recycling companies actually process them, so they almost always just end up in the landfill. I am lactose intolerant and I wouldn't drink factory farmed cow milk anyway. I'll drink my neighbors goat/cow milk though.

I just make my own oat milk though. It is really really easy and tastes great. You can make a carton of organic almond milk homemade for about $1.70. All you need is organic quick cooking oats, water, vanilla extract, and salt.

Here is a recipe: How to Make Oat Milk - Love and Lemons

I use 1 cup of oats per 3 cups water instead of half a cup, and I don't use any maple syrup, as I don't like sweet milk. I just use an organic cotton nut milk strainer bag to strain it. Then I keep the strained stuff and use it/eat it just like normal oats. No waste thay way.

So yeah. Homemade organic oat milk all the way for me!! :)
Thanks for the great recipe. As for the tetra pack, this is generally corruption and business

I was never able to drink anything but cow's milk, everything else seems to me very tasteless.
That's funny, now to me after drinking unsweetened nut/oat milk, cows milk tastes like straight up sugar! It is insane how sweet it is. When I was a kid I would drink like a gallon of milk every 2 days, but I turned lactose intolerant at like 19 or 20 despite continuous intake of dairy. So I stopped consuming dairy entirely for like 6 years. Then I rediscovered greek yogurt so I eat that. Now I will eat: greek yogurt; cottage cheese; grass fed organic butter; and this incredibly fucking amazingly delicious goats cheese I get from a goat farmer near me. He and his wife make mozzarella, cheddar, pepper jack, and smoked cheddar. Gives me a really good price too!

Lactose free milk is always available.

I used to only drink cows milk whole. I even did gomad for a bit and would easily drink 1⅓gal a day. Like an extra 2k calories. But after one huge bulk I decided to kinda go vertical without even knowing and did an elimination diet where I pretty much only had meat and grains/veggies/potatoes all fluids were only water and at first coconut milk cause the wife had left some in the fridge and I was feeling dangerous lol. I got hooked because vs whole milk I just felt so much better through the day in every way. That coconut milk was out of my budget for my consumption so I went almond.
I don't think I could digest cows milk now. Like it's only used in pasta type stuff or cooking In general when needed now. Even then my dairy is actually very limited. I'm not anti dairy but my body just does better with nutrition from other sources.

Plant based milk taste nothing like real milk and lack most of the nutritional profile of dairy. I'm surprised a lot of people find these fake milk tasty. They all taste garbage to me.

Taste is irrelevant for me since I only use for protein powder it's for consistency. I do agree from my dairy days taste is huge but tbh if you go to plant based for a month I almost garuntee drinking cow milk would taste like wattery lard. That's how it is for me at least. I was so picky I would not even change milk brands. My preferred was producers.

Lactose free milk doesn't work for me. I still get sick.

Also, it tastes even worse than regular milk. The bacteria break down the lactose into glucose and galactose, so it tastes even sweeter (and more disgusting lol) than regular milk! Just my 2 cents but i don't want my milk to be sweet/sugary. It makes me nauseated just thinking about it lol. I will stick to my unsweetened, very delicious, homemade, organic oat milk.

Yes, yes, I once gave up milk for a couple of years, experimenting with a diet. And when I tried cow's milk again, as if I ate pure sugar, well, it was very sweet.

You must've excessive sweet taste receptors. Dairy Milk taste good but it isn't sweet as lactose is 1/6th as sweet as sugar.
Considering you aren't allergic to casein, how can you not tolerate lacaid milk ? It should contain no more than .5g of lactose per serving.

For me, as I wrote earlier, after a long withdrawal from milk, now the cappuccino seems too sweet, like milk in general. Feeling sugar sugar
