Hey guys I have a random question about your anecdotal experience with crystal DNP and water retention. I just finished a 16 day DNP run. I have run many times pre contest with great success. It’s been two years since I’ve done a run and I’m kind of baffled. I eat moderate carbs and at about 500cals under maintenance. My starting weight was 215 at around 15%. By day two my weight increased to 220. Day 8 my weight dropped down to 208. I was flat and clearly bloated losing all ab visibility. At this point I added 50mcg T3. I had all the sides elevated temp, sweating buckets, struggling through workouts, even took time off of work. I noticed definite changes while on it and visible fat loss despite being as bloated as I was. My run looked like-
Day 1/2-200mg
Day 3/4-400mg
Day 5-16 600mg
I have now been off of it for 5 days and I look worse now than I did before. My abs aren’t visible still and my weight went back up to 215..... I never overate, I ran 50mcg of T3, and 400mg test C. My estrogen is well controlled. I never remember being bloated and looking flat and shitty for so long. Has anyone else experienced this? I always remember looking better 3-4 days post cycle. Not looking for lectures about running this stuff, just looking for insight. Thanks
