Well the countdown has finally started. I'm getting CTS release surgery on dominant hand, then the other a month later.
Those of you that had it done, was the recovery easy? Surgeon I met with said I would need 2 weeks of no pressure to the hand/wrist. Guess I will be doing an extra leg day, along with abs, stretching etc.
I hope I can finally sleep a solid 7-8 hrs without having severe pain waking me up
I plan to stick with my current AAS and Peptide schedule. 2.5iu before bed, and BPC157, TB500.
Please chime in with anything!

I did it a few years ago. Recovery wasn't bad at all. The 2 weeks is recommended cant say I followed the recommendation exactly but if you push it too hard youll know with a sharp pain but nothing crazy. I mean I wouldn't plan on using that arm in the gym but overall it's an easy recovery.

Guy at work just had it done. Said it wasn’t bad and he’s didn’t miss any work (manual labor basically) just kinda babied it were he could.

I’m sure you’ll be glad you had it done and won’t miss much in the gym.

It would only take 2 weeks? Interesting how they peform a procedure like so.

Edit….are you sure? You would have to do time with PT for a bit after?

When I got mine done there was no PT. It's a pretty simple surgery with minimal recovery if there's no complications and I had my cubital tunnel done at the elbow at the same time.
Biggest problem was learning to wipe my ass with my left hand for a week.

I had endoscopic Carpal tunnel release as well as ulnar nerve transposition done on both sides about 2 months apart. Took a few days off work just to be extra cautious but was back at just about everything within a month. Biggest thing you'll notice is grip strength decreases pretty significantly while the carpal ligament continues to heal. Doc should go over it with you but if it hurts much you're overdoing it and you don't want to tear it or recovery time increases.

No PT necessary for either surgery. Just some at home nerve glide exercises a few times a day. Keep on those if you want to retain range of motion.

I ran TB500 and BPC157 for 30 days post surgery each time, also as soon as it scarred over started using a topical preparation of GHK-Cu to try and minimize how noticeable it was (The Ordinary Company's "Buffet" plus copper peptides, if curious). Also added a scoop of collagen peptides to my protein shakes each day. Can barely tell there were even incisions for carpal release and surgeon was pretty surprised with my recovery speed for whatever that's worth anecdotally.

This is what I'm dreading.

What caused your CTS? 2.5 iu GH?

I can't say it caused it, but when I got back on HGH a 2iu a day it certainly caused alot of pain and missed sleep.
