Customs

If a package is suspicious, USPS can hold it and, if necessary, obtain a warrant to open it. USPS has their own investigators - LE.

Fed Ex and UPS don't have that conundrum. Perhaps there are other matters of which I am not aware, this is just curious to me.
Nailed it, if a package seems suspicious the will open it immediately but most ugl brands remove any suspicious word on the package they send and they put the goods in a discreet form. I guess they put their eyes on heavy packages.

But why subject oneself to the scrutiny USPS can provide when Fed Ex and UPS are capitalistic whores who will probably ship anything if they can claim plausible deniability.

fed ex and ups don't have the ability to ship anything they want because everything will pass through customs and this is where illegal/forbidden products get seized. They look for money but they don't want to put their company in an issue with the government so they always make sure opening 98% of the packages.

The FedEx and UPS question was asking why domestic doesn't use them... Domestic doesn't pass through customs.

I think the general reason is that very few Domestic shipments are ever seized... simply too much volume to dig through. The only packages that get got are ones that were tracked due to an investigative lead derived from other sources...

With that being the case, why would sources pay for UPS or FedEx when Express Mail etc is cheaper?

Thanks. Yes, I should have been more clear considering the thread title and subject. My apologies for the confusion.

Asked and answered.

Update: 10 days and still in CHI customs. A satchet reship for 2 orders placed simultaneously that were already ordered discreet. I reached out to source via email about shipping from Singapore as that was suggested to me via PM by a member here.

I've heard both things

1 Fedex/UPS/DHL have their own planes and unloading facilities at airports
Feds with sniffing dogs come once in a while, little further inspection (that was YEARS ago, before fent scare)

2 Fedex/UPS/DHL have to pass the same customs (some say they don't)
so the end result is the same.

Who to believe?

Fedex/UPS/DHL have to pass the same customs

Occam says that if commercial carriers were somehow magically exempt from customs screening at least equivalent to USPS flag carrier shipment, then literally NO ONE would ever use USPS again.

My money is that they are subject to the same level or greater (likely greater) scrutiny than their GS counterparts tolerate. Thats why they don't get used.

And the final results are in. Source is sticking to their one reship policy and I am simply out my money. Moral of the story? Stay domestic.

The whole concept of paying more for domestic is to elude customs, surely op is mistaken? If not they need to reship twenty times...twice to me.

I've used their domestic. No shipping issues. This is about 2 orders I placed simultaneously on their international site. Used discreet and it was caught. Used satchets after and it was caught. I honestly don't think it was even shipped discreet the first time based on the letters from customs.

Ok bruh, my mistake I thought basicstero was only domestic...seems to me a majority of China is being seized. I'm actually with @master.on that all packs from China are being heavily screened to include mobile xray....soon it will be every international pack... Study doctrine and put together special ops teams to rob pharmacies...when caught just say we didn't even take the Adderall or Percocet ur Honor...

@Darius PharmacomStore can you shed some light on options. Thanks

I can shed some light on our own ( PharmacomStore ) policies, Basic has its own policies, they operate independent from us.

Now, some updates which I have already stated ..
1. Our new warehouse has yet to see any seizures to US, we started it on the 1st of August, doing really well.
2. Super stealth disguise - sachets - also seem to be bulletproof.
3. EU warehouse has seen the last seizures from US customs in 2011 I think ....

Things with US customs seem to be indeed at another level this year, however some shipping locations will always be bulletproof. Packs from certain countries, considered safe by the US government, are not even X-rayed.

We will stop China/HK dispatch for the US regions where we know seizure rate is at a very high level.

This is a major turning point for most sources/manufacturers and small sources and UGL will have a hard time to adapt and many will vanish. As usual, just like in a financial crisis, big players will always have the means and resources to adapt and get more market share after the crash ends, stabilizes or even continues.

I'm not saying we're on the "too big to fail" level but you guys got the point :)

How long until you receive a letter if something was seized? I had a package make it through Chicago customs sept 28th and delivered a few days later. Another one made it to the same place 6 days ago and hasn't gone through yet
Did Chicago just start cracking down? I live there and had package in feb no problem from Hong Kong. I am 8 days into the two week delivery now. I getting nervous with all this seizure talk

Haven’t heard anything good lately. Wait for your letter..

I am curious why everyone uses USPS, even domestic, assuming they do. Would not UPS or FedEx Ground be more innocuous?

i wouldnt use anything other than USPS for domestic. source should also be using "priority mail" as delivery method... which is guaranteed T/A in business 3 days. they also require a warrant to search your package. which would take at least an extra day hopefully giving you a little time to clean house of anything incriminating

ups and fedex are private companies that will search your package if they have any suspicion
