Suggestions on changing up my workout from getting big to getting cut, I have never had a problem getting big.
Have never successfully cut, curious to see what you guys have to say.
Thanks.

Diet will really be the big factor...

But interval training has worked for me, supersets, tri-sets

Diet all the way!

Cardio is nice, good for health and can help, but definitely not essential for fitness goals.

Personally, the harsher the cut (naturally), the more I increase intensity (weight, failure, rest pause sets with very little time in between) but decrease volume (number of sets).

Can't handle high volume on a cut and it's not conducive to retaining strength in my opinion, and you're not expecting to build mass.

Cardio is your friend... Along with the correct diet, as I am sure you know. I personally would just pump blood into the muscle and vary intensity and volume based on your energy level that day while cutting, because unless you are running a shitload of gear you won't put on any new muscle...

Diet is key everyone knows that and will say it but there are some routines splits that work better for the goal.pm me and I will send you the fat to muscle workout book if you like.I bought it used it and liked it.used it about 3 times actually.X Shop

Same story with me I have no prob putting on the muscle and the time comes when you want to see the whole package that you worked hard at building.

Yeah thanks man, I have an idea of what I need to do.
If i have it laid out there for me it will be much easier.
Anytime I try to do lower weight high reps I always end up slowly sliding back to higher weights and obviously diminishing reps.

It IS a mental thing. Years ago when I would try to bulk up I would be VERY un-interested in training...it's like anything, if you want it bad enough you'll do it.

Yeah see I love bulking
I love the strength and size that comes along with it.
I love tossing the heavy weight around, all though my joints aren't diggin it as much these days.
