yes it will work fine. i would pop it in the oven first , 30min 250deg and put a pin in the top to relieve presure. but dont let it touch the oil.

jay, why pop it in the oven? it's already sterile oil.

you don't want to use soy oil, it contains phytoestrogens.

if im not mistaken it is only filtered, not sterilized. and c/a can you explain to me the problem with phytoestergons? i have been using there oil for a long time, am i messing up? if you could point me in the direction for some research on this i would realy appr it.

my bad. it is on filtered. but if you're using it to cut, the prop will have ample ba to cover the sterility issue.

yes it should have plenty of ba. this being the reason to cut it in the first place. but still i just think its a good idea. but your rite not needed.
