I know most of cutting is carido and diet. but what would you do if you was trying to cut up? i never really did it before. i just keep my workout at moderate weight or heavy weights. i never really did anything lite before and alot of reps. what would be a good way to work out in more a to cut body fat? any suggestion? thanks for everyone opinion and suggestions.

Hey Big, I did volume training ( 10 sets of 10) and in a BIG way indirectly lost alot of bodyfat. I lost more than 5% in an 8 week period. I ate fairly clean but did eat pizza and ice cream a few times each week. I stayed fairly close to maintenance calories. I did cardio MAYBE 2 times a week on the eliptical for not more than 40 minutes. When I started I was around 22% ( FAT BOY)

If you want to cut calories and carbs, I have had good success doing that, however I hate the loss of strength and feeling tired and weak. Plus, I really love to eat so it is harder for me to eat ther same thing everyday for 8-10 weeks to really cut myself up.

I would bet $$$ you would have awesome results doing German Volume Training, not only putting on muscle, but indirectly cutting yourself up. Good luck man! :D

But you didn't stay very close to maintenance or you wouldn't have lost weight. When you increased your daily activity level(added volume), you increased your daily caloric needs. You just continued to eat at what USED to be maintenance.

You can always start with so many high volume trainings that are posted on here and than adjust ituntil you find out what works best for you....I did 10x10 but than I changed it up and now i am doing 3 exercises x 3 sets and each set I try to do anywhere between 12-17 reps.....I pretty much get same results, but don't feel as week as I felt with 10x10.....Change is always good and different people have success with different programs....
