Cycle advice after surgery and weight loss please

I had surgery June 30th and hadn't been able to lift for 2 weeks previous. That plus a starvation diet has now dropped me 20lbs in muscle mass.

My question is, is it better to lift unassisted by AAS for a while, or should I jump on and get back to size right away?

I have 50ml of tren enanthate on the way, and 20ml of 250 sust, and was thinking of doing 500 tren and 250 sust for a 12-16 week cycle. BUT, does anyone have experience with this sort of thing? Should I just lift unassisted for a month or two?

Any thoughts/advice is greatly appreciated.

Two days ago I went to the gym for the first time in 6 weeks. I'm pretty weak... Didn't want to strain myself, so I only benched 205... but I used to do 315, and I know I'm way down. Arms lost at least 2 inches.

Doc says I can lift now. It wasn't a muscle cutting surgery.

Thanks guys

Are you and advanced lifter ? how many yrs have you been at it ? Do you have any real muscle memory ? how old are you. have you ever cycled before ?

I'm 45, done two cycles of test enanthate, and sust. Been lifting most of my life on and off, but last 3 years very consistantly.

Neodavid, wondered where you've been.
In my personal experience, I've had a couple of injuries and surgeries. I've always responded best by lifting without AAS for at least 4-6 weeks before going on.
In my case I feel like it prepared my joints and muscles for a serious attempt at gaining muscle, once I went back on.

On the other hand, AAS has always been prescribed to help repair any sort of tissue damage.

Just my .02 Good Luck! graybass

bro when I had my gallbladder removed in dec I was out for 3 weeks I licked it up with AAS had no problem, helped alot, at your age you might think about putting deca in for the joints, helps wonders, I know I use it. what type of surgery did you have? when I fracture my back this last march I waited about a good 5 weks then went on a small cycle to see how I reacted, it went great. I give all the credit to AAS to my speedy recovery on the back issue, I still hurt but fuck it, I say go for it good luck bro

Thanks, this is 'sorta' where I've been heading in my own thinking. Otherwise I wouldn't have asked, you know, if I thought a cycle was definitely the way to go.

I was thinking too, that I would be taking advantage of muscle memory, and then let the AAS carry me on farther by doing it later.

Thanks for the .02

Thanks, I didn't know Deca was that helpful for joints. I've always had joint problems. What would you think of tren e, deca, and sust for a cycle? How much of each?

I was hoping no one would ask what kind of surgery I had, but I guess I can give it up and tell everyone it was for hemmoroids. Just think of it as vein removal from my ass. That's all it is. complications afterwards made me on a starvation diet, lost more than 20lbs of muscle, which on me is considerable... went from 205 down to 173, am now back up to 180, but some of that is fat, I haven't been lifting, just eating again.

Sorry to hear about your back... to me that's the worst one of all. But ass is definitely second, specially after a big meal.

You never really said what your surgery was. But just be carefull not to get to strong to fast or you could re-injure yourself. Graybass gave good advise, take it slow and see how you respond then do a cycle if you think your ready..................11

Yeah, but in another later post... my ass plus steroids left me with assteroids. Working too hard at the squat, I'm just not built for it. Everyone is different I guess.

My arms are only 3/8 inch smaller than the largest I've ever gotten them without roids, so it's not as bad as I felt it was at first. Just I was so used to being a lot bigger. Hard to lost 20lbs or more of muscle.

I'll give it a few weeks to see what happens, and if muscle memory kicks in and I grow fast, I'll leave off juice for a while. Maybe my 2 cycles changed my bodies set point and I can get bigger than before without juice... due to muscle memory.

Can't wait for my tren e though, heard such good stuff about it. A bro here is kind enough to front me 50ml.
