I have been in the game for a fairly long time. And this question is discusses quite frequently. How long should someone run there cycles if they are a competitive bodybuilder of physique athlete. Ive done a lot of research, some sources state 3 months, some sources state 4 months, some sources say 6 to 8 weeks and so on...I usually run a cycle for 3 to 4 months and then cruise on my TRT from my doctor. With so much conflicting in ofmration out here I am just getting as much information, insight and opinions as I can. Once again, Ive done alot of reaserch but its tough when info sources of information contradict themselves or state something different. Thank you for all of your help and Merry Christmas!

Hi!

I would say “depends”.

If your plan is blast and cruise, essentially will be ON perpetually.

In other case,,

You may read “X” number of weeks.

But practically depends on how aggressive are you with your calculated anabolic load and your goals. I mean, is not the same (as it is obvious) to blast 750 mg test + 250 primo for 16weeks, than 500 test + 500 tren.

In those cases, bloodwork leads decision.

So, choose your path, choose how aggressive should you be for it and plan ahead!

Got it, thank you for your help. Your answer confirmed what I was thinking but Im never too scared to learn more or ask questions. Merry Christmas, lets get hyyyuuugggee!lol

Stagnation and health is what dictates when to end a cycle. If you stagnate in gains, get blood work, if you are still healthy, up the dose and/or add one more compound. Eventually your blood work or other side effects tell you it's time to stop.

No source can tell you how many weeks you should run your cycle because they don't know your blood work, if you are still making gains, or if you are suffering from other side effects.

Sounds good and thank you for the information. You all have been a big help. Merry Christmas!

Totally agree with what has been said - let your health and goals direct you. The one thing I would also add is it also kinda depends if there is a time goal - for example, if you want to do a show in 12 months from now, you only have 12 months to work with. So then you would have to decide how long you can bulk / cut. Whereas if you have no dated goal - you can take it as fast or slow as you want, health allowing.

Merry Christmas

Most definitely, the amount of time you have to meet your goal is very important. It’s all about staying as healthy as possible and mitigating any risks that come along with it. Once again, thank you for the good information and guidance. Hope you and the fam have a wonderful christmas.

That’s a hard question to answer, in my opinion it depends on compounds, doses, and blood work. If I throw tren in on a cycle I run it for no more than 10 weeks. If I am just running test/primo and 100mg of Deca for joints I will run that 4-5 months as long as bloods look good.

From everything ive read, seen and experienced myself, i think anything from 12-24 weeks depending on your response, needs, bloods, goals etc.

I think most people are getting kinda stale and are better off giving the system a break or a different stimulus/goal after 24+ weeks.

I could see 4-6 week cycles as well if you do a harsh minicut considering you are on TRT or blast and cruise, but that would mainly be to maintain muscle during the high catabolic state of the minicut.

It all depends though lol.
