Daily Supplements?

What b12 dosing do you guy use?

I've been playing around with it to see what I like. There is really not a lot of info on dosing out there so I have been going by feel. I did 1500 mcg for a week or so then dropped back to 1000 every few days since I read that a loading phase can be helpful. I still do up to 1000 mcg a day or every few days. I'm curious to know what others do or if anyone does more than this.

Are you using a slin pin?

Just got off phone with my trt doc and she can get me 30ml b12 for $100. Is that a good deal?

Downside (sorta) is that it expires in 28 days due to recent fda law. But she said as long as its refrigerated, it'll last years without losing potency. Is this true?

30ml is enough for a damn village lol or a long ass time for me. Anybody wanna go in on it lol?

How many mg or mcg per ml? 100 bucks is a bit steep I'd say but if it's coming from a pharmacy that is a plus. You can get it online cheaper though. Cem meso has it.

I just asked and was told 1mg per ml, so 30mg or 30,000mcg total.
A lot more expensive than cem meso.

If I were you I'd try cem meso or another online option and see what you think before trying out pharmacy version. You may not respond as well as others on here. Some people are able to absorb b12 through diet better than others from what I understand... So you might try it and feel no different at all because you are already "maxed out" so to speak.

Wise words my friend.
Thank you

No problem, if I can just get you to drop the panthers avi you will really be on the right track. ;)

Haha. I kinda like it.... It's growing on me. I'll change it after suoerbowl (lost bet when they played Seahawks)

Lol funny thing is i was just looking into probiotics today. Any reccomendations of a good brand?

I honestly have no idea. Very hard to distinguish BS from legitimacy in the supplement world. The more I read about the gut-brain axis (Gut–brain axis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) the more I think it's probably a good idea to take a probiotic, especially if you take methylene blue or other RCs with antibiotic activity.

Let me know if you find a good brand!

These have probiotics in them and they are the shit. Coconut and quinoa is my jam.

Fermented Cod Liver oil
Shilajit (Pretty much a mineral supplement)
Probiotics
B12
Grass fed Whey Protein with hemp seeds and cinnamon

I also use various fresh/dried herbs and spices in my meals such as turmeric, paprika, parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil, ginger, dried peppers, etc. (I don't use all of those daily, other than turmeric, but I switch it up with different variations of them). Obviously they aren't supplements, but I'd consider adding some of those to your meals, if you don't already, for their health promoting properties.

Absorption is better. BUT, with that being said. The large majority of the population have no need to inject it actually because most people can absorb it just fine when taken orally. Or just through diet as well. There are some studies that show interesting results megadosing b12 and its benefits regardless of the individuals ability to readily absorb the b12 through diet or oral ingestion - I would have to research that to refresh my memory on the studies I read about.

Even though just taking a daily pill sounds kind of like the winner here - I was curious about it after doing lots of reading about it. I figured what the hell, worst case is I have a little failed experiment. But I ended up getting awesome results by trying it. Many benefits I can only attribute to that change I made. I should add that I've never really noticed much difference from oral b12 when I took it and my father has to supplement with b12 shots so I may very well fall into the category of having an inability to absorb b12 easily through ingesting it.
