Dark Urine

I'm doing a cycle of winstrol and noticed my urine is dark a lot of the time. I am sure I messed up and dosed it wrong so I was taking too much. I mixed up a new batch yesterday and dosed it correctly. It's this normal? Could it be from it being overdosed?

Usally dark urine is caused by dehydration. Are you drinking enough water? Otherwise if it’s dark brown sorta color it can be connected to damaged liver. Id pull bloods and make sure your taking something like Tudca and NAC if your not already. I haven’t had first hand experience with this but my friend who use to run oral only cycles had the same thing happen to him.

It could be dehydration. I haven't been drinking enough water lately. If it doesn't clear up in a couple days I will get blood work. Thank you

All good make sure you include some sort of electrolytes aswell it will help a ton you should always be drinking a lot of water on orals anyway, it helps the liver

Dehydration doesn't "clear up" in a couple of days. If you aren't drinking enough and your urine is too concentrated (ie. dark), it only takes one big glass of water and an hour later your urine should be clearer.

If you are observing darker urine with your water intake staying more or less the same, chances are it's liver stress or changes in your body water balance, ie dehydration due to aas effects on the endocrine system. Especially if you are doing an only winstrol cycle you could have issues due to zero estrogen and winstrol by it self has substantial effects on water balance as it's somewhat anti estrogenic. Ofc aas effect renal flow, electrolytes, etc. However, dark urine is also not uncommon with oral aas due to liver stress. Check your liver values (bilirubin, ast, alt, alp, etc.) and check you kidneys along with a cbc.

Btw, you can make your urine light no matter what if you drink enough water. You can drink 5l of water and your urine will be light no mater the liver stress, but that is not to say that 5l of water is an excessive amount and you'd be loosing to many electrolytes and minerals (supplementing is a must). So I'm just alarming you to the point that if you increase your water intake by a big margin and your urine gets lighter, that doesn't mean much in regards to determining liver stress.
