This is sad news. I know he has had issues for years. But this is really unfortunate.
Also had a unique community that will be missed and hard to find a replacement. Not to mention wouldn't be the same without his contribution.

I'm getting a server down for maintenance message that says they will be back soon? datbtrue forum had the most up to date info and it would truly be a shame if all that knowledge has been lost.
After a few email exchanges yes, the forum will be closed completely by the end of the week. That means you won't be able to view threads, search, post or anything else.
Some members are trying to rescue the information and utilize it on a new forum but how extensive will this be remains to be seen.
DatBtrue website was the best website for all anti aging topics! Im glad i spent 10 plus hours cramming before site whent down.

I'm sure he had his reasons but man...I'm having a tough time trying to justify that decision.
In the absence of stated reasons (for opposing the archiving of the info), there is going to be a LOT of speculation...

Ive been a member of dat for a bit...i use AV tides myself...always impeccable quality, anyone who doubts that canlook at the bloods i posted recently on his IPAM + mod. But i have to say this: the guy who used peptides on himself at lab rat doses is having health problems? With how vague he is being here is anyone else asking the obvious here...is it possibly connected to his various peptide use? I dont go crazy with peps but this has given me reason to pause
Shame he's decided not to preserve the content and leave it up. He was the godfather of peptide info before everyone became an "expert." I hope his journey is as good as it can be considering his diagnosis.
Is he really making all the info just disappear?
I had tried several times to access the site by creating an account a few weeks ago. My confirmation email never showed up after registration... I figured I had my answer why that was when I heard about it being shut down.

I totally agree. One would think there would be more disclosure considering the respect for advice given and attention given to his research results and experience. While I absolutely respect his privacy I also would have thought more of an explanation would have been given because now the speculation and doubt that follows is disturbing.
That being said I sincerely wish him well and hope and pray for the best for him.
From what I've seen elsewhere there was mention some of the admins and mods were feverishly copying what they can before the axe finally came down, and using the material for a new forum (if that is true). I never was a member there but heard a lot about it though.
To me why throw away all that hard work if he became ill? If that place is truly a gold mine of info he'd be willing to pass on the torch to a trusted person and at least lock the forum read-only.
One guess I venture is that there's some legal issue as well and that can explain the sudden closure with no preservation of content.
Yeah, I don't get making your life's work just disappear. If it was me I'd want it there forever.

I do hope that long time members will lobby Dat for doing just that..or allowing a trusted person re-host the forum read-only and not taking on any new members.
Leaving for "medical reasons" and deleting all info? Odd...

I don't buy it. Dat, tom or AV is the same guy and I believe he received some mails from the Feds and wants to save his ass before shit gets real
