Dave Tate on gaining weight

I like this guy, I would probably fold at breakfast haha.

His first statement is gospel.

"There's no such thing as hard gainers.... Only no brainers" ;)

Cool video. That's a lot of Hershey bars.

How much do you weigh?

Someone getting from 270 to over 300 is anything but easy....

Exactly. I can go from 196 to 207 in the course of one day at a Chinese buffet.
But when I was 240 and I went to the Chinese buffet eating twice as much I would be 241 by the end of the day.

So true...
I was trying to bump 290 by my last cycles end. It is much harder the closer you approach your genetic limit. I'm talking about bw only here. I do not use gh or insulin. I fear that may be the only way to surpass these weight goals. In that case I'm not interested. Insulin is such a ridiculous thing I don't wanna go that route. But everyone has a genetic limit. At 6'1 280 seems to be mine without putting on alot of useless fat. Which seems to be what happens when I start toward 290

Interesting article with Dave Tate:

Yeah I agree. The closer you get to your limit the tougher it gets. I do agree with @Janoy crevesa to a point - there's a lot of slim guys that join and complain they can't get any bigger but don't track calories and don't eat to grow. But most guys in the mid to upper 200's eat like it's a god damn second job and have trouble adding weight.

I'm cool with insulin - as long as it is just getting spiked from my diet... Beyond that I really don't have any interest either personally.

GH is another story but that is far down the road in my journey.
