Has anyone here been caught or know someone who has been caught selling weed? I have been hooking up some friends but money is tight so I am thinking of expanding but its not worth going to jail. So if you get busted and get a good lawyer would you be able to get off with out jail time. I have no record so any info would be great and even better if you are a lawyer!

This has nothing to do with bodybuilding or steroids but you guys have handle illegal drugs often so maybe weed is in the mix. Just a thought but if you know a board that talks about those drugs let me know.

I know somebody that did just short of 90 days in a work release detention center for first time distribution of weed. He sold over an ounce of grass to an undercove cop. So in that state, and it may vary from state to state, it is a felony to sell over an ounce of weed. So he did the time and he still has a felony record to fuck with him at each job interview. He and his wife are considering adopting a baby but they are concerned that his record may prevent them from getting a child. He love to hunt and he can't ever be in posession of any firearm. If he ever had a child and wanted to take him or her hunting, he couldn't.

Just my opinion but I would get another paying job and leave dealing alone. It isn't worth it to me and I'm sure it's not to you either. Good luck and I hope you consider what I have told you.

Good point. I was just letting him know what he's up against and I tried to talk him out of it. I agree that this belongs in the general discussion forum but I don't think it's much different that if Ian Smith were to tell us that he's depressed because he drinks too much and he drinks too much because he's depressed and he needs our advice. This is not a board to discuss alcohol or depression but we try to help each other out. Do you see what I'm getting at?
