Deca and Joints

In my past I have been a salvage diver, carpenter, and scaffolder. Currently I am a desk jockey.[:o)] My joints hate me!!

Next cycle looks like so, was thinking about adding 500-600 mgs of deca and re-working the cycle, from the articles on the web, they all say it's good for joints, but I figure I would ask those who have actually used it. If it is good, does it only last while on cycle??

Weeks 1-5 D-Bol 40 mgs , 10 mg AM, 20 mg 1.5 hrs before workout, 10 mgs PM
Weeks 1-4 Prop starting at 200 mg EOD with taper to 50 mg EOD week 4
Weeks 2-12 Enan 400 mgs Tuesday/Friday (800 total/week)
Week 13 Prop 100 mgs EOD

Prop ending as Enan will take upwards of 21 days to clear and with the prop I can keep levels up for another week while I wait to administer HCG then Serms.

Hey Rek,

Your cycle looks like you know what you're doing so I won't critique it too much. I'd actually say bump your deca down to 400 mgs a week since from personal experience, if I break the 2:1 rule with test:deca, my dick starts to not work all the time, and my wife and I are very active. :D

Here's the bad news: About 4 weeks after the cycle, your joints will feel like hell. Your collagen production will be in the toilet and your joints will FEEL worse than before the cycle.

Now, here's the good news: it works off cycle, but you always need the test with it. So technically, you never get off-cycle, you just blast and cruise. Otherwise, it's akin to chemical castration. I am on HRT (a very conscious decision and it's all self-administered) and I threw deca in to help my joints. I can run 150-200 mgs of test per week, 75-100 mgs of deca and everything is lubed up and good to go. I stopped taking glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM because of it. I would imagine even dropping to 50 mgs a week would still help the joints.

As a note, I just went through neck and back surgery and the neuro said I'm healing about twice the rate he's used to seeing. Of course, I kept the secret, but I know why. I've been running deca for 9 months now...since the day I went under the knife. I am almost back to my best workout routines 3 months after the last surgery...

If incorporating the Deca for "lube" purposes, 300mg per week should be fine. The higher you go, the more bloat you will have.

There is no need for the Prop and d-bol at the beginning.

Thanks HDH, I will look into using Deca in a future schedule with a 2:1 ratio with Test to ensure all is well with my gear, LOL.

Did you find it caused you bloat and no real gains?

With regards to the D-Bol, I felt I usually wait about 2 weeks for the Prop to be fully engaged, that's why I went the D-Bol route to get things going ASAP.

The gains from Deca/Test were awesome. Higher doses of Deca makes me bloat pretty bad. I have run 800mg in the past and just find it unnecessary. Don't care for the feeling anymore.

You can do both Prop and D-bol but I find it quite unnecessary.

I appreciate the information, I am considering the 19-nors in the next while, chances are I will look at Test/Tren with a Test Prop and a Tren Ace kick start:drooling:, I will post all before I go down that road.
