Depression / Anxiety and HRT

Being generally apathetic is a good description of how I feel. Did you have to see an endo to determine if you needed HRT?

To determine whether or not you need HRT requires a couple blood tests and maybe an MRI. Usually an Endocrinologist or Urologist can determine that. General practitioners aren't as versed in the more modern forms of treatment (not that many endo's or uro's are either).

I've had more than a couple of blood tests and I've been to 4 urologists and one endocrinologist. I've also had a MRI about a year ago right after I had a severe migraine. It showed negative. Do they look for something different on an MRI to determine if you need HRT?

They check the pituitary gland for abnormalities (IE - tumors).

If you had an MRI from headaches... they'll need a new one on you because they will be looking at something entirely different.
