I tried to make an order off the website but was told the items I added were out of stock. Devon emailed right away to let me know and offered a swap but I don’t really trust a source that doesn’t keep track of their inventory. I don’t want to negotiate for an inferior or unwanted product.

At least Devon hit you up right away instead of pulling the classic “just shipped, bro” while hoping you forget. And let’s be real - Stan and half the big-name vendors don’t even have a website, just email, and nobody’s throwing a tantrum over that. But suddenly, when a vendor does have a website, now it’s a problem that it’s not Amazon Prime?
Also, always use email - it’s way more secure. The website is just for show, like a fancy menu at a restaurant that only serves one dish. The real business happens in the inbox.
I’m not defending Devon, of course. It would definitely be a plus if he updated here or on the website when something is sold out, but that’s a question for him.

You all can do whatever you want. I went to the website and tried to order the most expensive item they had. I was told they were out of stock but they offered me their house brand. I was going to order again today but had second thoughts because if they’re out of anything else, do I really want to go back and forth through emails when there are 5 different websites that have what they offer. Again, I saw a red flag but you do what you want

@DevonPharmacy some customers leave, some need to be fired. Pretty sure you gain about 25 minimally for everyone lost, besides, not all custies are worth the hassle. Stories I could tell you from other vendors involving entitlement and scam attempts would have you alternating between jaw drops and rolling on the floor laughing.
@dick_starbuck I go back to sending cash in birthday cards and waiting. No tracking. No email. Random PO Box or the fancy guys would have a suite # which is just a PO Box in a UPS store. Lots of people aren't cut out for that anymore, I theorize that it started with participation trophies that declare Everyone Is a Winner. Newsflash - 2nd place is just first loser.
