DHT Qs

Just to clarify if my thinking is straight. Test is converted to DHT via the 5alpha reductase enzyme, taking finasteride during a course using test will inhibit DHT conversion during a period when it is potentially much higher than normal. Following PCT can finasteride cease to be taken as test levels have returned to normal and thus there is also a normal level of DHT conversion? Or does increasing test levels permanently change the rate of DHT conversion even after PCT meaning finasteride must be taken permanently? Am i right in thinking that because eq converts to DHB it is not a threat to hair loss and does not require finasteride whilst being taken?

Anyone like to educate me? Thanks

You can cease finasteride after test levels return to normal, but many continue to run it at a lower dose. You really should only be taking it if you're susceptible to MBP, so if you are susceptible, then you will just be less susceptible off cycle.

DHB isn't much of a big deal...it's similar to DHN. Here is a post on another board that should clear things up somewhat, but think of DHN and DHB to be essentially the same with respect to hair.
