Well you obviously ignored all the polls that still showed Bush ahead or tied, except for Newsweek of course. I'm very pleased that we are still ahead since all of these polls were conducted over the weekend which is a big plus for Bush. Polling over the weekend is supposed to be a big no no, since republicans tend not to be home. But I suppose with the urgency to get some polls out after the debates the polling groups decided to break the rules even if it does lead to skewed numbers.

As debater I can say that Kerry bringing prepared notes to an extemporaneous debate is big time cheating. It is a huge advantage that cannot be discounted. If I were in the Bush administration I would demand that Kerry be frisked next time.

Windigo, as an oral master debater, What are your opinions on GWB wearing the earpiece ?

Where do the Republicans tend to be on the weekend ? Are they out working at the homeless shelter or performing some other civic duty ?

LOL....if he is so bad, then why isn't Kerry up by 20 points in every state and national poll???

Because most Americans are not great communicators and are not articulate. Bush relates to the common man...he does not preach to them the way Kerry does.

The democrats need the uneducated and poor to remain uneducated and poor.....that is their constituency.

Yes we kil't a few al qaeda members. But Al Qaeda wasnt in Iraq, until we went there first. It'd be alot easier to catch the man who EVERYONE but you thinks is responsible for 9/11 if we had committed to full brunt of out troops there. He is the bounty, he is the prize . NP Windigo, thats a fair question...I was an EOD diver. I was a bomb squad technician. EOD stands for Explosive Ordnance Disposal, so i went where the team went.

I was part of a rapid deployment unit called " mobile units" , that were again broke up into smaller detachments, usually 4 man teams..we went here and there for a few days all the time. We trained all over the place, including SE Asia . I was stationed at Subic Bay in the Phillippines, forward deployed to a place called Diego Garcia.

The US closed its Phillipine basesin 92, and I went to san diego , then ended my enlistment in the Florida keys attached to the USS Taurus PHM-3 . That was a hydrofoil that was used in LEO ( law enforcement ops) chading drug boats around south florida.

Sometimes i was shipboard, sometimes i was on land, but never for very long in any one place. It was nearly the perfect duty for a guy like me.

Damn, some of you really are clueless when it comes down to it. OBL may be the leader, but he is not the primary threat. If you kill him, his people will definately retaliate and cause even MORE issues than before. You think that all the terrorists in the US have been taken care of? The problem for Bush in 2 of the key 4 states (Michigan and Florida) had a record number of voters registered. If even 60% of the expected turnout votes in these 2 states Kerry will pull both.We very well could have a reversal of last year and have Bush win the popular vote but lose the electoral vote and the overall election.
