ok, I recently got back to training from a 11 month injury. Problem now is that Im on third shift (10-6) - train (8-10) - sleep (12-6) and I cant seem to make any progress. I want to do a local show in Aug, but im so far behind now, im not sure about it. any suggestions would be greatly appericated. Current stats are 5'8" 228 about 20-22bf. The weight training is going great, just cant seem to make progress with the diet. Current example:

8p - 2 scoops whey w/ milk, 3 fish oil, mulit vit, 2 hydroxycut
1030p - garden salad - 3 egg whites, 1 whole egg - no dressing
100a - 2 chicken breast, 3 fish oil
330a - garden salad - 1 chicken breast - no dressing, 3 fish oil, 2 hydroxycut
645a - 2 scoops whey w/ milk, 1 serving NOxpolde (pre-workout)
1000a - 2 scoops whey w/ milk (post workout 1)
1100a - 3 piece catfish - 1/2 cup brown rice - steamed veg's - mulit-vit (post workout #2)
around 3p - 2 scoops whey w/ milk (if I wake up in the night)
water is around 1/2 gallon with another 1/2 gallon of propel.

carbs are VERY low as I want to drop body fat. Thanks for any input...

I work graveyard shifts too,7-7,one week days one week g/y,we do 3x12hr shifts and I have come to the decision that I will take the three days that I work off,as far a training heavy goes,it just can't be done ,on the juice or off,if you wont to make gains you have to go harder and heavyer than your last workout,ie more reps, even one or two reps, you can get bigger and stronger if you cant get these one or two reps on you main power building exercises you are not going to get bigger and stronger. You might as well take the time off to let your body recuperate, rest and get stronger.I used to go to the gym 6 days a week and the likes, but found that I was just pumping ,if you really wont to get big you need to do big weights, that means big rest, big eat....good luck bro

Perhaps your notion of keeping carbs super low to burn the bodyfat is your problem. There's an old saying, "Fat is burned in the furnace of carbohydrates."

Personally, I know I always notice improved fatloss when I switch from super-carb restricted to a more balanced diet.
