Diet/training log

I'll elborate, like how many reps and weight should I be doing?

My bjj isn't a cardio work out? I can't go ten seconds without thinking of technique and what I want to practice. My mat time is a lot of instructional but I spend most time drilling with resistance and rolling. My hips are insanely strong I'm realizing.

Will these help fill out my body/look good? Sorry to be vain

maybe I misspoke...
I thought your goal was to be a better competitor in the sport of BJJ, are you training for aesthetics? to look good?

You are right but one of my goals was also to look good and I have some body parts I was hoping to define/grow for myself and my gf.

I'm definitely most interested in the strength increases. I know I'm confusing a little and I'm very happy for you stopping by. Would isolation AND a compound routine be out of question? Add extra 30 min to routine or do I need to make a decision?

I'm typically there for 1 hr. In and out. Also I've been throwing in what compounds I do know and just not recording them but it's 2x a week.

no man you can adjust your training however you want to meet your goals...there's always some middle ground. No right or wrong just different strokes, it all bout what's important to the individual.

My only other suggestion is do it for yourself, don't do it for your gf....

Glad to hear. I'll try something more tomorrow

I said me before her :) But I like to look good for the opposite sex. That's why men do things? She takes care of her body too, it's a five year relationship and we so things for each other as well and taking care helps us both.

What do your macros and food choices look like now that you are out of keto and eating carbs? Do yo have carb source you prefer?

Cooking most of my foods and going out once a week. Macross today were 202 protein, 125 carb, 83 fat. I'm eating comfortably, taking my vitamins, working out in the morning, work then bjj.

Most of carbs are coming from burger buns/preworkout/postworkout. Rice is on my grocery list. No soda no sweets.

I really like burgers cause they are fast, easy, and pretty balanced, plus I can put whatever on them like avocado
