Different Carrier Oil Causing PiP?

I've been using 1ml 25 gauge Luer Lock syringe to pin testosterone enanthate 250ml twice a week for roughly 16 weeks. No issues with pip or anything.

I decided to try a different lab recently and after pinning 300ml from their vial, I've gotten some pip and a bit of swelling in my glutes.

Could it be from the different carrier oil the other lab uses to the reason why I'm getting pip all of a sudden?

Anyone experience this when switching labs?

Well is it a different carrier oil?? What was the carrier oil and lab yiur were using? What is the current lab abd carrier oil? Is the concentration higher or did you just pin more oil? Have tou asked both labs what carrier oil they use? How much and what solvents they use?you are not giving enough information. It could be a number of things.... sterility, solvent, carrier oil, concentration.

It's not the oil, it's the test enanthate. Test enanthate has been the biggest cause of PIP since the early 2000s. The ester, for some reason, is more fragile to decomposition, likely from the low melting point. The older the raws, the higher the chance it's gonna cause pain.

I have used test enanthate for a while and never had pip. I just brewed some for a buddy a while back at 350mg/ml and he says he loves it.. no pip @ 1ml 3x a week for him. so not everyone gets pip from test e... OP stated he'd been using test e pip free for a while..

I have no doubt. It's not that enanthate always causes pip but that it is by far the most common cause. Test enanthate has a low melting point and from what I've seen, the longer the raws are in a melted/plasticized form, the more it degrades. If you get raws in the original powder form, it tends to be good. The longer it sits and liquefies, the greater the chance of pip.

If you're brewing yourself, it's smarter to use decanoate which holds at high concentrations, has similar release kinetics as enanthate and doesn't have this issue.

Yes, carrier oil can make a difference in pip

@micro2000 I think it's more recent problem since 2020, test e and c where both pip free before that. Something happened to chinese test e raws right around corona.

Do a search on Google for pip, enanthate and forums and you will get tons of links of forum posts all the way back to the early 2000s. I found out the hard way back around 2007ish from some TE I got from Panda. The raws were powder when I got them and no pain. I didn't use it all and when I made another batch it had plasticized and it caused pain. I brewed all the solution but left out the TE and no pain.

I wish I had saved the post but years ago Janoshik posted that he had retested some retained TE he had and it showed significant decomposition.

Can a carrier ingredient cause pain? Of course. But when I see enanthate as the steroid, 9 times out of 10, that's the culprit.
