Distal Clavicle Osteolysis

I've had this condition for several years now, but I've learned to live with it.

I can't usually stand still for long periods or I get severe pain in my left shoulder and arm, I also sometimes feel like my left hand is num for no reason.

Last night I was doing military press, and I think I may have went oveboard with it. It hurt last night, but when I woke up this morning it hurt real bad. I had to leave early from work because of it.

I went to the doctor and according to the x-ray, the end of the clavicle bone is completly missing now. There is a gap that I could see in the x-ray between the joint and the clavicle bone.

The problem is, he told me to stop working out completly and start taking some medication to ease the pain and inflammation. After three weeks he will reasses the situation. He said warm ups are fine, but no weight lifting.

Anyone had this too?, what do you recommend, should I stop my bulking and just diet or should I keep lifting weight but go light?. This sucks, I was doing so well the past one month or so :(.
