Let me say first that I have read Heretic's and Kimo's posts and they have been very informative.......thanks guys. Now, I can't do any searches on this forum for DNP because when you search it has to be at least 4 letters.
What is the official name of DNP? I want to research for more info on this site and the net. At this point I am considering some for my wife. She just had a baby in October and needs a jump start to slimming up for the spring
BTW....she is not a BB. Just wants to get into a bikini again after the birth.
Thanks bros

Rill.....I don't have tons of time right now, so I'll give you the quick answers without all my normal explanations....I'll get to them later. Sorry to be short bro..
First, women who are still considering having further children should not use DNP. The substance can actually cross into the eggs in a womens ovary, with possible defects in the cellular structure being the result.
DNP should not be used by any lactating (Nursing) women, as it will be transferred in breast milk.
There have been instances where DNP was cited causing glaucoma in women who used the substance for long periods of time. However, I don't believe this is a problem in 99% of the cases where DNP is used for quick short periods of time. (research showed use for 6 months!!)
DNP is fine for women who do not meet the above exclusions. However, dosing needs to be reduced. All figures of 400mg / 200mg, etc. have been laid out in accordance with a typical BB who is approximately 100kg (Little over 200lbs). If your wife is around 130 or so, that would need to be dropped in roughly half...so she should take 200mg day, 300 tops. Since most DNP tabs are supplied 200mg, for the first few days just dump some out...and then get to where you take a full capsule. If you only have 200mg caps, then don't go above 200, as you will not be able to properly weigh out the 300.
As for what the scientific name is, that is di-nitro-phenol or specifically 2,4 dinitrophenol. It is usually supplied mixed with a water, as the substance is inherently difficult to work with in pure powder form.
See this link: https://www.catalogue.fisher.co.uk/scripts/search.dll?Browse
and before any of you get any bright ideas...you will need to be an established lab to order from Fisher.
Hope this helps....
