For some reason I was thinking it was something else.

So is there any benefits to filter twice ?
Or is it overkill?

My theory is if I filter twice the gear will be cleaner .

Overkill I think... Filter correctly once and done... I use a pre-filter it's like .70micron in case there are any large raws pieces etc

Honestly man I said the same thing about wanting to use a syringe filter until I get the hang of it... But I brewed 100ml and said fuck this and made another purchase for a pump setup and basically would have cost the same if I went straight into bottle top filters.

I did the same thing, but occasionally use syringe filters for Trestolone or small brews.

OK this is what I was gonna do . was just concerned about sticking a syringe in media bottle would put the sanitation at risk .

With the septa like eje1990 was saying its like a rubber cap u put the 18g needle attached to 60ml syringe in the cap on the media bottle the fill 6vials cap with rubber stoppers and repeat. Sure a pump would be nice but I would expand in stages.

If I don't want to buy the vacuum pump now bc I'm cheap and broke I can just use a syringe and push it through the filter? Even though apparently it's sucks but I'm not brewing that much
