Hey everyone ! I am about to start preparing for my first homebrew.Do I need to buy a vial-crimper to put on the stoppers and the tops??? I suppose I do but ... Any other possible way to seal the vial? With small pliers for e.g. ? I think its not going to seal good like this though . I have never done this before so excuse me for the silly question . I brewing just for me so i can buy sterilized closed vials . Anyone have ever used screw-cap vials ??? I was searching in the net but only can find a bulk with a few hundred and i really don't need so much .

For personal brewing, I would just buy sterilized vials, which have the tops already attached.

U mean closed sterilized vials , right ? So i just inject the solution inside and start my homebrew cycle ? I guess then , i will just have to prepare how much I need . I forgot to ask in the main thread ... Has someone made a melting test at home ? Any ideas how to do it ? I have some thoughts spinning in my head with the powder on a hot plate and measuring with a thermometer but ..... It's not going to work . May be the pharmacies have equipment no make a melting point test ??? I never asked .Thanks !

The sterilized vial is for the finished product. Noot sure what you mean by "start the homebrew cycle".

i mean that if i buy closed (in the web also says sterilized ) vial , to put the oil inside i have to pin it , so even low quantity but the oxygen will still be able to go through the little how . I will have to use all the oil i prepare cause of this . How long can it last with a hole on the rubber stopper ? I dont think that much time as its completely sealed .

Would you believe me if I told you it's magic? The rubber actually seals the small hole the needle makes, thereby protecting the contents. Of course, there are limits, but the rubber can withstand the number of piercings that you will be making, providing you use smaller gauge needles. These are the same vials and stoppers used by pharmaceutical grade meds.

Have you ever used injectibles?

Claro , i have used injectables [:o)] So , you say that its ok if i brew some test and leave it for lets say 6 - 7 months before using it ? ( if i pin the rubber stopper of the already closed vial with a very small needle in order to inject the oil inside ) It just making me crazy the thought of me spending 170 usd on a silly tool .
