In small doses can these substances inhibit muscle growth??

I dont think it does inhibit muscle growth. I train with Nubian 2-3 times a week and it will help you grow with AAS. Might not be the smartest thing to do but it will block out some of the pain.

I have heard of people training on nubain...but can you expand an that a little more? One of the monsters in my area is rumored to train on it...

it's just an extremely addictive pain killer. it's an opiate, the same as other illegal drugs and such. my advice to anyone who wants to try it is DON'T. it is not worth it.

Be very careful when taking these meds as they are very addictive! You will end up in rehab if you get addicted to these...which is why I do not take any kind of pills!

how doees anyone get addicted to this stuff?
I've tried it and all it does is make me dizzy, I toss and turn all night, grind my teeth, skin feels ichy and I feel like complete shit the next 2 days.
the most i've tried is 1/2 cc....i've tried as little as .3 and still the same sides.
i tried it for post training pain at bed time.

It is so addictive because it binds to every cell in your body. I know a few guys that just came back from iraq and they were in medical treatment down there and came back having to detox off opiates. I dont care who you are you can easily get addicted to opiates and they are a bitch to come off of. Ive seen the worst in people on and off opiates! I work in a treatment facility and when an opiate addict comes to detox we have to monitor them 24/7. Blood pressure flies threw the roof and they dont sleep for days. My point is stay way clear of these drugs (hydrocodone, percocet, oxy, nubain, etc.) because they can literally control you and ruin your life! Nubain is the reason Craig T. spent a year in the pennitentiary-a lot of top guys use it and cant train without it.

i think the addiction dpends onthe person. I for one can do it and then not touch it again.

As for the original question I believe nubain is also anti-catabolic (sp) So it would actually help you.

Opiates drop testostore levels like a rock - an therefore definately reduce muscle growth. Nubain is a little different being half antagonist - it isn't quite as bad but still, IMO, reduces test.

Opiates do increase GH but not anywhere near enough to compensate for the reduction in test.

People allwayz say drugs are sooo addictive

well ive done extacy, cocaine, meth , ice , all before back in my stupider days

but i never got the urge to be addicted to any of them. MAby once or twice and that was it ]

I think if you have a addictive personality then your in trouble.

the most addictive drugs with the worst withdrawal are alcohol and benzos. these new synthetic opiates: nubain, torbugesic, temgesic are designed not to be as addictive. some are used to treat opiate addiction. i use nubain and torbugesic for pain but there is no way i could get addicted. they make you feel like shit. if you have an opiate addiction one shot can send you into withdrawal. thats how they were designed so that junkies wouldn't go for them for a fix.
i'll get off the soapbox for now before i get really started on the hypocrisies of our "free" nations drug policies.
regards,
runner
