Front squats are no jokeI've taken the last year or so mostly off back squats so I can recover better to progress my deadlift. Been doing mostly front squats and high rep belt squats during this time and my legs are bigger now than when I was back squatting regularly.

After a certain point of mass gain they’re fucking impossible without one or cheating with wrist straps on the bar.I've grown to really enjoy them since I bought a front squat harness. Never felt comfortable doing them with oly grip, cross armed grip, or with straps.

I looked into the harnesses after seeing your post. Definitely a game changer.For sure. It was being unable to keep the bar up holding me back rather than leg strength. The harness eliminates all that and you can really push yourself.
