Do we need to add TMG to the Indolplex/DIM.

Doing DIM to keep E2 down Dr. John feels you need to add TMG with the DIM here is what he said
"We should remember that DIM also increases the level of the dangerous 4-OHE as well as improving 2-OHE/16-alpha-OHE. Thus it should not be taken without DMG, or preferably TMG, to wash the 4-OHE downstream in its metabolic pathway. Folic acid helps as well."

I am looking into this and there is not much about it. I have this link on "The Steroid Tree" can anyone figure this out.

I am at a loss as to what the new OTC product was. Read this and see what you think. The more I look into this the more my brain wants a break from it it is way over my head. So if someone can put this in laymen's terms thanks.

Several studies have shown this to be true. I just hadn't hesard anyone else recommend this, so someone had to.

RE" TMG and DIM

Does anyone have any links showing the actual problem caused by DIM that requires the intake of TMG?

I'm having problems finding those links.

Also, if taking the TMG for an anti-homocysteine purpose, it appears that the effective dosage level is 5 grams daily. (Does that what DIM does, increase homocysteine levels... if not, then just what is it - and what is an effective dose of TMG???)

Betaine (trimethylglycine) (6 grams per day) and choline (2 grams per day) have each been shown to lower homocysteine levels.43 44
