Do you plan to live on GLP?

I think just getting a prescription for it will be harder. Most doctors here in germany only prescribe it when your Hba1c is above 5.9 and Homa above 5.0 to "qualify" and then you still need to have had a metformin and jardiance as previous therapy for at least 6 months

At least thats what 3 doctors told me when i tried to get a prescription for pharma tirz
Pharma tirz is starting to appear in Turkey. We just need to be patient. I won't touch UGL garbage.

So people before GLPs couldn't loose weight huh?

Makes it easier? Yes.
Are they a NECESSITY? No

Know the difference.

And @Ghoul, f off and go lift some weights before talking smack. Without ChatGPT you are a insecure manchild behind a screen LARPing as a know it all (_o_).

GLP is a naturally produced hormone, which can be deficient like any other.

Diabetics survived prior to insulin too, poorly, and with a significant loss of quality of life.

You'd think someone who uses steroids heavily to compensate for their substandard Mexican Midget Wrestler genetics would see the hypocrisy in criticizing others for using exogenous hormones to assist in meeting their physical health goals,

But then the Aztecs venerated in your profile weren't easily dominated by a handful of Conquistadors, nor their ancestors left speaking the language of their conquerers, ended up this way because of their formidable intellect.

Why though? Is it an ethical stance or more of a “my peptides must be blessed by pharma gods” kinda thing?

Do you feel the same way about gear too - only pharma, script in hand, doctor-approved… or are we picking our purity battles selectively? Just curious!

AND there are really good counterfeits of the pharma stuff including packaging, we also need to look out for that, much higher profit margin. You need to ensure a good good source there as well.

All my UGL peps are lab tested & filtered, 24 months no issues. If you buy from random Joes on FB, or sources with no rep there is a good chance you'll end up with crap, same way as with oils. No they are not inspected facilities but us dumbasses try to reduce the risks.

You assume too much. I am Caucasian you waste of oxygen.

You still a LAPRing land whale.

I'm a 40 year old piece of crap at my leanest and strongest with some shitty chinese "sports TRT" 300mg weekly test and cheap chinese sema/tirz.

The GLP's let me stay lean, not care about fast food, keep me sane, kill any desire to drink or do stupid crap. I'm far below my setpoint and nearly everyone I'm related to, I work with, or interact with daily is overweight or obese.

Despite having junk food shoved in my face daily I have zero desire to eat it, all thanks to GLPs.

They're basically magic with zero downsides.

I only use pharma test in ampules and pharma GH from a trusted source. I don't install unreliable Chinese car parts in my car and I dont shoot Chinese mystery juice in my ass.

I fought with my body for 39 years and hated my relationship with food. I'm so much happier now. I can't imagine going back.
This! My partner started on Sema for 1 year+ and lost 50 lbs before I took interest. They had a hormonal issue which qualified usage through insurance, though we went with a Dr. in another state due to our state's complications w/ getting GLP-1s covered.

I very reluctantly started Sema about 10 months ago and lost ~40lbs. Once I hit my pre-pandemic baseline, I started focusing on re-comping rather than continuing to lose weight.

This is what thrust both of us deeper into the peptide and nootropic world and brought fitness back into the forefront of our lives. We both always struggled with food noise and gaining weight easily (genetics.) And while this was initially a sympathetic pillar for our relationship, we're both so relieved that we don't have to deal with that aspect of our biology anymore.

Tirz is the mainstay now, but will occasionally add a low dose of Sema to increase appetite suppression as needed. We stay near the lowest starting dose and tend to push each dose out past a week for maintenance.

My only concern is that Tirz does raise my resting heart rate. And while my basal metabolic rate has likely increased correspondingly, I do worry about the long term implications. Adding ubiquinol and upping my omega 3 intake has helped this tremendously though.

We have some Reta on the way now. My partner is afraid to try it, worried it will increase appetite, but I'm really looking forward to it.

So long as they remain relatively easy to source, we're planning on continuing to stock up and remain on low/maintenance doses as long as possible.

I've had a high A1c for years, like 9 to 13. I was taking way to many beds including sling trying to control it.

2 months on Sema, cured me. A1c down to 6.5!

. I'll switch to Tirz down the road. So yeah, I like it.

Back to the question at hand, I think it's likely I'll take them forever, but once I get to my goal weight and get into a good routine, I will want to see how difficult it is to maintain, so I plan to stop for at least a decent period of time, 6 months or so.

Are GLPs necessary? No. But so far they take what is typically a completely miserable slog of trying eat less and make it much more manageable.

I used to sit between 180-190, yo-yoing back and forth. I went through 2 10mg vials of reta and now even after over a month off my weigh has stayed between 169-175, with 172 being my average. I'm on 200test/100primo and 5iu of hgh.
My body fat is lessening on my love handles, lower back, and my lower chest as well. I do have a hard time eating much the day after an injection but by 2-3 days after I can work up enough of an appetite at night to get some good calories in.
I just started reta from another source at 4mg. I was 172 this morning. This batch I didn't notice much from 2.5mg but may still be tolerant from my last run.
Big fan of so far. I'm excited to see how bloodwork looks.

Question to those cutting on GLP's. Do you intend to just keep them in forever like GH and test?
I don’t know about the other’s but from what a read about tirz is that its good for not gaining the weight back fast compared to conventional quick weight loss methods. So thats a plus, maybe you could do it just 3 months every year if needed?
