Hello everyone, I'm Lizzie
I’m a medical doctor specialising in hormones (endocrinology/diabetes), and right now I’m working as a clinical research fellow at Imperial College London. My research focuses on how anabolic steroids affect the reproductive system in both men and women.
Women’s experiences in particular are really under-represented in the medical literature, and I’m hoping to learn more. I’d love to hear from women who feel comfortable sharing their perspectives, or even just thoughts on what questions shouldbe asked in this area.
I’m also happy to answer questions about the medical side of hormones or reproductive health if that’s of interest. Please feel free to comment here, or DM me if you’d prefer to share thoughts privately.
