Doctors in NY

I just started using Dr. Bar-Chama. He is at Mount Sinai. His specialty is urology. Has never failed to satisfy any question I had.

He also knows more than me. Which is more than I could say for my previous endo.

He didnt think me crazy for trying estrogen management with armidex and is always curious to see what I come in with on the next visit.

I am happy so far.

thank you, larrygreg........i have heard of him.......does he have you on any type of protocol? So he troes to get your natural test going?

i just made an appointment with him.......he doesnt accept my insurance so it will cost me $375.00......does he treat low testosterone?

I didnt need a protocol. I was on androgel/testim a few years before I saw him. When I mentioned arimedex for estrogen management, he didnt look at me like I was crazy or like my last endo, who outright refused to try anything I read about. I was curous about clomid, but he felt that was better if I wanted more children. I didnt.

He definitely treats low testosterone.

If you made an appoinment with him, I dont see why you cant talk to him on the phone and ask him these questions before.

At that kind of cost, I would think it better to get a flight up to see SWALE, especailly when you consider follow-up visits, since SWALE will then treat you remotely.

You can call him, I know he is in Tuesdays only. I do somewhat agree with the previous poster though. If he doesnt talk to you, go with Swale. 375 is kind of expensive. Maybe Swale can recommend someone in/near New York for less.

Sorry I cant be of much more help than that.....

If one sees a Dr. that does not except Insurance call your Insurance and ask for the forms to fill out to get back what they do pay.
