does blow hurt muscles.

Thank You

The class "CNS stimulant" is far too broad of a term IMO as too many things fit the bill to be in there such as nicotine, caffeine, and even some types of anti-depressants. So, I feel that even stating it as that doesn't put it in the most appriopriate category, but hey the US government does consider it a narcotic of all things sometims though, so who's to say what it should be...

Really, what I was trying to get at though from my previous post was what Stretch got at being that you did state cocaine was an amphetamine, though accidently. In addition to this, other comments you made in your earlier post where the comment about cocaine being an amphetamine had some good points, though I felt some were off course. As for assuming that ppl who become addicted to cocaine will die by age of 40 is simply not the case. Some ppl actually have used cocaine daily for years and decades and die from other causes in old age that are not cocaine related. However unfortunately, some ppl can die from using cocaine once too. I condone you for trying to give educated advice saying cocaine can have negative health consquences, but sometimes if you give advice that you want to be educated and ppl find out its not true (as in this case cocaine), then they will feel nothing you say is true and possibly think cocaine is okay to use, no matter dose, duration, and method of delivery.

If ppl remember the ecstasy puts holes in your brain government studies then ppl finding that is complete bullshit, most teens then believed NOTHING about what negative things ppl said about ecstasy. That same kinda thing happens alot w/ different other things as well, probably the most though when it comes to all recreation drugs though.

People believe what they want. The claim of MDMA creating voids in the brain is validated by several studies. When serotonin enters a dopamine re-uptake site, the following reaction produces H2O2 (aka hydrogen peroxide) effectively neutralizing all cells in contact with the site. It only happens in circumstances involving excessive, continued use of MDMA to the point that dopamine supply has been exhausted. Bottom line is THE SHIT IS BAD FOR YOU. Anyone can poke holes in studies and trials to find an excuse why it is ok for them to partake in recreational drug use. Coke, ecstacy, meth whatever....if you are looking for an excuse to validate your drug use, you probably shouldn't be doing it in the first place. Pointless fucking argument, IMHO of course.

Erowid MDMA Vault : MDMA Brain Scans Showing Neurotoxicity Invalid

Have to look at Erowid link when I get home....work has it blocked as "abused drugs." Anyways like I said you can find a study proving or disproving the efficacy or harmfulness of any drug to make whatever point you wish.

Thank You

k i dont want this to seem like an harsh answer..but what studies do you have to support this claim?? there may be a few exceptions to the rule... but you have no way to support your above statement, in fact i would claim that very outlandish and wouldnt expect that form someone who normally has such knowlegable posts ( you seem very intellectual about things)... cocain is very addictive..over 90% of the people who use it become addicts.. and everytime a person uses it they need a higher quanity to get the same high.... your heart and life will become fucked in a matter of 5 years... 10 if you have good genetics. period. ive seen people break addiction after 2 years of use and heart trauma was very severe.

and as far as stating cns stimulants, im talking about hardcore drugs..the big 3 are meth, amphet, and coke... youre taking it out of context to include things such as 'caffein ect'.

none the less.. i appreciate the feedback..

yes i agree..ive seem some of theses studies amongst prior study... nicely put.

I checked out the link and I will concede that the comparative images were most likely 'doctored' to convey the desired message. However, as a current student of biochemistry, I also cannot ignore the physiological implications of excessive, continued MDMA use. In a brain synapse during the absence of dopamine (as occurs after a weekend-long 'x' binge) serotonin may passively enter a dopamine re-uptake mechanism creating H2O2 as a cyto-toxic byproduct, killing the cell. That said, I don't want to argue over something we all know: Illicit Drugs Are Detrimental To Your Health. As for the OP, fuck yeah blow hurts muscles. Lean muscle is the most efficient and complete fuel source your body has in the absence of food. So you do a line and put your body into overdrive, its going to fuel that little endeavor the easiest way possible. But once again, you can probably find a study saying I'm wrong and that moderate cocaine use helped Jay Cutler win Olympia so that makes it ok for you.

There have been many celebrities who have became addicted to cocaine and not died from it. Examples include...

Waylong Jennings (10+ year addiction. Once bought 1000grams of cocaine at one time which cost him $70,000)

Danniella Westbrook (10+ year addiction. Did so much cocaine for so long that she didn't have a nasal septum left)

Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown (? how long of years addiction b/c they both appearantly still smoke freebase (crack) cocaine frequently)

....I could go on and on. If anyone is more interested about cocaine using celebrities, a link is provided below for you...

http://en.allexperts.com/e/l/li/list_of_celebrity_cocaine_addicts.htm

...There are other instances where ppl die of cardiac related issues who have abused drugs in the later years of their lives, but NOT before 40. Two great examples are Richard Pryor (65) and Rick James (56). Then unfortunately, there have been ppl younger who have succembed to death by overdosing on cocaine, such as Len Bias, John Belushi who died of a speedball, and
Count Gottfried von Bismarck, who died from hourly injections of cocaine repeated several times.
