Don’t call it a comeback

Great DL session today. It’s been nearly 2 weeks since I Deadlifted. The weight felt heavy at first, but came up real nice.

I hate to say it, but elbow sleeves did absolutely zero for my elbow pain. The only thing that ever helps my elbows is not low bar squatting. Doing front squats, safety bar squats, or high bar and only switching to low bar close to a meet. I do high rep hammer curls for blood flow and take ibuprofen to make it through. Soon as this meet is over I'm going back to front squats.

Received my STrong sleeves today. love them. The compression really seems to keep my elbow in check. I can feel the tendon “wanting” to strain, but it doesn’t.

My numbers have all been going up pretty well lately. I’m happy with hitting rep PRs, moreso than 1RMs. I’m pretty sure I’m stronger right now than I was after 2 years of training, before I got injured... just goes to show what decent programming, patience and drive can do.

Edit: does anyone else lose appetite on tren?? I feel like I have to force feed myself, and I’m only eating 1-2x a day. But im getting all my protein, etc.

It lowered my appetite but I felt like I needed more calories due to higher metabolic rate. It was weird and I definitely force fed some times.
 
Took today off. Been feeling really lethargic the past few days and random headaches, I hope I’m not getting something. Will be going for an OHP PR tomorrow. Hoping to break 200lbs for a few reps.

On that note, does anyone follow Julius Maddox? I know his WR was mentioned, but goddamn. Dude is throwing up 600+ for reps like it’s just the bar.

Yeah, he does. It’s just crazy to see 600 go up so fast and for so many reps.

800lbs will be insane. He'll probably get though if hr bulks up to 500lbs. He moves 700+ fast.

I’m sure he’s got 800 in him. Eddie Hall is gunning to break the record right now too. I wouldn’t put 800 past him either. It’s gonna be a close race. Julius has raw power, but I think Eddie is more seasoned and methodical.

Didn’t turn out how I wanted, but kinda expected something like this with how shitty I’ve been feeling. I’ll probably end up with a cold in the next 2-3 days.
 
Had that on squat a couple weeks ago. Was warming up with 370lbs and it made me feel like I was gonna pass out.
Yeah man, it was weird... I felt it start to go at 165 so I figured I’d back down to 135 and just rep it out. Then even at 135 it was actually worse and I ended up going out for a second or 2 on my feet.

I’m thinking it’s a combination of extreme deficit (2000-2200 cals), very low carbs and the cold that I feel coming on. They don’t mix well.

Good call, passing out with weight over your head not a good thing. I had something similar a month or so back with a 75lb DB doing pullovers, the whole gym spun. Managed to get up and equalize. Nothing over my head after that for a bit.
