I just started test and var with hgh and my alcohol consumption has been moderate to high on my days off and its scary bc my liver shows its being stressed, so im trying to find ways to stop drinking while im on all of this. Definitely going to try thisFuck alcohol. Use pregabalin and baclofen as a replacement for drinking, or as a way to drink a lot less on nights out. These drugs act on the same receptors that alcohol does but without the same empty calories and negative affects on sleep, MPS, etcetera. So you can cut loose a little bit and have fun without fucking up your progress

Tirz did the same for me with alcohol- completely cut any desire for it. I have a couple drinks on the weekend when I take my girl out, but never more than two. Either a light beer, or alcohol with a diet soda.I used to get cocked just once a week. Decent physique better than most people at the beach but could’ve been better. I started Reta in mid June and it zapped my desire to drink. I haven’t been drunk since the end of June and when I drink have a glass of wine or a beer and end it there. The difference has been amazing. Wife started asking how i got cuts on my abs like that it’s like im not binge drinking and eating the entire house. Even that one day a week limits progress so much I mean when you’re adding 1500 calories of booze and 2000 of probably junk food even starving yourself all week barely equals it out. Not worth it dump the booze if you crave it start some Reta I have an addictive personality and could give a fuck about any booze or recreational drugs this point.

I’ve skimmed through every thread on this forum in relation to alcohol and every thread talks about trying to train while being a straight up alcoholic, but that’s not what I want to discuss.
We should discuss: Can you build a reasonably impressive physique while drinking alcohol once a week, or are the negative effects THAT bad on muscle growth? We can discuss this assuming that the person drinking is at-least on testosterone, since this is a steroid forum after all.
I personally drink once every two weeks with some buddies but when I do drink it’s never casual, usually 5+ drinks. I haven’t noticed recovery difficulties the following day especially if I hydrate before sleeping. (I’m also 27 years old)
Thoughts? Experiences?
Coming from someone who use to drink heavily I’d be careful. You know, you don’t want to trade one addiction for another. With that said I have both of those pills from India. Pretty solid combo that does have an alcohol like feel. I know @AscensionIncoming got that recommendation from “Clavicular”. I also quit July of 2021. I will never go back to drinking. Alcohol is such a shitty drug but it had a pretty strong hold on me in my teens and 20’s. My wife and I quit drinking together. Best decision ever. It would be much harder to quit if you’re single and chasing pussy. I know that life thank god I’m retired no more expensive bar tabs or chlamydia for meI just stopped drinking all together. July 4 of 2021 was the last time. I saved a shit ton of money with that decision. Also stopped a lot of the self inflicted problems.
At the end of the day it's all a decision. Stop drinking or don't. It's self control. And self choice. Asking for opinions or different substances won't stop shit unless you choose to do it.
