Hello guys, i wanted to ask about the anti-esteogenic side of drostanolone, aka masteron, i have though about adding in 100-125mg of masteron prop, weekly just for it to control a little bit my estrogen level withput the need of using an IA such as anastozole or serm like tamoxifen, have any of you guys tried something similar? Did it work or is it better to rely on a IA? my main anabolic would be test prop 500mg week and npp 250 mg week ( they are not dht derivates so the aromatise a lot) Any other suggestion would be appreciated

It's not anti-estrogenic, it just competes for the same receptor.....
So it will not control E2 as a AI, works a bit more as a serm

Mast works more as a serm it allows your estrogen to be higher before experiencing high sides from the estrogen. Not sure if it’s going to do much at this dose since your running test and npp. I think primo or eq would be better in this scenario

No not my first cycle, but first time using a 19-nor, 21, my main sport is powerlifting but right now im more concerned about size rather than small categories, managed to bench 150 kg, squat 230kg and deadlift 250 natty so i would say i have a decent base, bloods would be Monthly since were i live they are free

Thanks for the advice, haven’t tried none of those and 2 new subs van result in sides that i dont know exactly de compound, but will do my research on thoose

Yea based on you being a powerlifter too I think eq would be great for you it increases endurance which will make training better and increases appetite so you can eat more also makes you more vascular. And its a testosterone based compound so you don't have to use a dht derivative if you don't want to

so eq instead of npp? is it worth the kidney damage? eq is pretty hepatotoxic, so i dont think thats worth it even at doses like 300mg wekk, when you can choose other compounds, also its long time kick in and long life around 10-12 days dont combine well with my plans

So back in the day before everybody got bloodwork with sensitive e2 and went more off feel EQ was more of a second tier anabolic associated with veterinary (horse) use. It’s not super strong, it doesn’t aromatize much, it tends to thicken blood, especially at enough mg dose to be useful to build muscle.

These days everybody wants to run primo as a second mild anabolic because it also acts as an aromatase inhibitor, but it’s hard to find and either expensive, fake, or expensive and fake if you can even find any.

And it’s extremely person to person individual what effect you’ll get, but a lot of people are finding that running eq as a support compound can help control e2- for some people it can have pretty dramatic AI effects. You gotta try it yourself and dial it in though.

So I think they meant do your NPP blast but use eq to dial in your esteogen instead of AI loke aromasin or anastrozole.

Yes I meant eq as an add on too npp to control the water retention/estrogen from the other compounds. It does take a while to kick in but I think its useful even at lower dosages since it controls estrogen and doesn't have much sides aside from blood thickening/hct elevation. The kidney damage and blood thickening from it can be controlled from drinking more water usually, but if you don't want to run it primo would be a great add on. Like the last guy said though it can be a little harder to source but still available and more expensive, I don't know what your budget/situation is

I second what the others are suggesting as using eq as a 3rd compound to leverage e2 control and add a slight anabolic effect vs using an ai which won't illicit any other effect and can be more problematic than the potential eq sides. It's also my understanding that the kidney issues were only noted in one rat based study and may not be as detrimental to human health as believed

Got it, can source both but primo is pretty expensive in comparison to what it offers, also a quick question, when using test e , it needs to first get saturated , but that takes around 4-6 weeks, adding some extra propionate test (250mg for example) would be a good idea or not? Eq takes too long to kick so not valid for kick start, masteron prop could also be useful, what do you think?

Yes, that's my idea, that's why I'm looking to add some compound that performs the same function, since an AI can be harsher on cholesterol and not offer greater benefits. There's nothing like trying it out on yourself, I agree.

Anyways I'll leave a quote from @Type-IIx:
"Masteron prevents estrogen uptake into (e.g., breast) cells. SERMs antagonise estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus and pituitary. So nah, it doesn't act like a SERM, but seems to be a mild antigynecomastic agent."

So masteron isn't going to do much for estrogen control. Use exemestane for that. Or primo. Or even eq if it has that effect in you
